Gaga, Jung and Stoicism

Stoicism

Many times I feel attracted to that feeling of letting life take me through uncertain paths, those that can be traveled happily, without a plan. It's so great -in my opinion- to discover how much light or shadow we have inside.

I tell you that I have my routines, but I don't stick to them, if I have the possibility to do so. My day can then be wonderful, inside little things, simply admiring the beauty of each discovery.

Then I can put on a playlist, read, wander in my garden, plan anything that may not be carried out just like that, to the letter, nor at the time I originally thought to do.

You may think this is not at all optimal, nor productive. But it is (perhaps) that we live different realities.

Let me give you an example:

A few days ago, I had to go to my office, and in the lobby I saw this scene I will show you shortly. It was no big deal, there it was, in the lobby, this container with a rose, and the light of the golden hour was coming into that room in many beautiful ways.

I approached the flower and soon realized that my body could either illuminate it or shadow it. So I made these three captures.

Today while listening to music and reading about stoicism, I decided to turn these three photos into a work of art that I titled Lady Gaga. Why? Well it's simple, because in my playlist I listened to a Lady Gaga song and curiously among the things I was reading, I also saw a phrase attributed to her.

"If you have no shadows, you are not in the light."

Lady Gaga.

I often wonder how everything can be related like this, in this way. And I just sit at my laptop and write, to come to the conclusion that it's just synchronicities. And that it is very nice to be able to be attentive to details, if you have time to enjoy these wonders, of course.

Let me clarify that I understand that there are people living too hectic lives and that it is not very easy for them to concentrate on these things. Or not... perhaps, there are those who, in spite of their {hectic} reality, have this capacity-sensitivity.

After doing some more research, I thought that Miss Lady Gaga in her approach connects with Carl Gustav Jung's when he wrote:

"One does not illuminate oneself by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious."

This post is about music and thoughts, about art, about creation, about draining emotions... it's me in the middle of my creative process, like photographing cookies or a flower, things that can have much more meaning outside the simple and daily act of eating, smelling or admiring.

By the way, since I mentioned Stoicism, Seneca, that wise Roman, said that men are not disturbed by things, but by their opinions of them. Try to find in every thing pleasure, beauty, good. In short, always look for that positive side, it can be a great revelation for our lives.

This is what I can give you at the moment. I don't know if it is enough, but you also have the possibility to leave me your comments about those details or synchronicities that you usually discover every day.

The photos of the rose are cool, great idea to make that sequence!

Lady Gaga - connected to Jung? Ok, ok, seems that it is indeed the case, proven through this post ;)

😅 There are things that may seem incomprehensible, but if you look closely, they are not so.

Waffffff !!!!

Well, that's what we sometimes talk about, finding the positive side of things. And you are doing it. Remember what you told me about the trip to Santiago de Cuba? Just that... that's more or less what this post is about. 😉

What a beautiful post mixing beauty, art, photography, music, thoughts.... synchronicities...

Depending on the vibration that one has one enters a certain frequency which will attract more of the same, equal attracts equal.

Being aware of my darkness is what led me to self-knowledge and that led me to love myself as I am, if I love myself, I attract the same....

Many times looking for answers to a question a person comes to me and says one word and that is the answer. the connection with the double makes it speak to me through intuition, vision, people, a message on a poster.... see the details of life, be attentive .... very attentive to this plane.😉

Thank you. Always so attentive.
And so it is... It is also something that is said to be easy, but it takes a lot of work. Not everyone can do it.

¡Que tengas un lindo día!

I love reading you when you link the things that happen to you in everyday life are connected to some musical moment, usually by these travecias with the wonderful we collide daily, now having that senciblidad to see what some can not appreciate is the real magic.

This is interesting to read. I like the picture you presented. There's life in it. And you are right, everybody has a lot going in their lives. Music is life, and so is the presence of creativity.

Thanks for sharing.
