Tres canciones de La Oreja de Van Gogh

Hola, amigos del mundo. Hola, amigos de Hive. Hoy es el primer martes de marzo y, como todos los martes, hoy compartiremos y escucharemos buena música. En esta ocasión, quiero compartir la música de una de las bandas españolas más famosas de los últimos años y una de mis favoritas: La Oreja de Van Gogh.

Cabe decir que la carrera musical de La Oreja de Van Gogh comenzó en 1996 y se divide en dos etapas: la primera terminó en 2007 cuando su vocalista, Amaia Montero, dejó el grupo y se unió Leire Martínez; y una segunda etapa que terminó precisamente con la partida de Leire en 2024, y el regreso de Amaia al grupo. Hoy compartiré tres canciones de esa primera etapa de La Oreja de Van Gogh.

La playa

La Playa es el tercer sencillo del álbum El viaje de Copperpot y una de las canciones más memorables de la banda española. Lanzada en 2000, y más que una canción que habla de un amor de verano, es una pieza llena de nostalgia, recuerdos, en la que "escribir la canción más bonita del mundo", más que un estribillo, es una realidad sonora.

20 de enero

La siguiente es 20 de enero, el segundo sencillo de su obra Lo que te conté mientras te hacías la dormida. Esta canción habla de una historia de amor real de la vocalista Amaia y ha servido como referencia para hacer que esa fecha, el 20 de enero, sea el Día de La Oreja de Van Gogh, que se celebra por la propia banda y sus fans en todo el mundo.

Rosas

La última canción es otra belleza: Rosas y también es del álbum "Lo que te conté mientras te hacías la dormida." Se considera la canción más exitosa y hermosa del grupo. Esta pieza habla de una persona que no acepta que su relación romántica haya terminado y espera que la otra persona le traiga rosas:

Personalmente, creo que más allá del cambio de vocalista, Amaia y Leire no solo son grandes cantantes, sino que también tienen timbres vocales similares, La Oreja de Van Gogh es un grupo con un nombre único e historia dentro de la música en español y trasciende más allá de sus integrantes.
