MEET MR. NAKI ||| MY INTRODUCTION TO HIVE BLOCKCHAIN AND ECOSYSTEM.

Hello everyone,
My name is Mr Naki

Growing up as a child, I was told many stories, most of which I have grown to know were mere fantasies. But one story stood out in all of these stories. This was the story of rapture (a word used by Christians to refer to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.)As little boy, I was told that God will return to judge the world in the year 2000, meaning the world will come to an end on January 1st, 2000. Prior to this time, I was also told that good people will go to heaven and bad people will be sent to hell. I was so scared because I didn't know what to expect. Fast forward to December 31st, 1999, the eve of the end of the world. I can recall very clearly how scared I was.

I spent most of the time alone outside looking at the sky to see the reappearance of God descending in a chariot with his host of angels. I prayed and asked God for forgiveness, peradventure I may have committed a sin I didn't know. When the evening of December 31st, 1999, came, the sky had a characteristic appearance of yellowish and reddish design; the usual sky blue and white appearance was not there.

At this point I was very convinced that the world was ending that night. I mean the signs were there in the skies for all to see.January 1st, 2000, came, and I put up my best behavior, expecting the Lord. I did everything I was asked to do, expecting the Lord. That day came and passed, and the world didn't end. However, this experience changed my life forever. I began to ask myself at that very tender age very important life questions. Questions like, why was I born? Where do people go after they die? Is God real? What is his character? Who created this world?I didn't find the answer to these questions all through my childhood days; I went through secondary school searching for the answers in vain.

PASSION AND HOBBIES

Because of the quest to find deep life answers, I had two sets of hobbies. I would consider these hobbies as being at two opposite ends of the pole. Totally unrelated to themselves. On one hand I'd love to watch football, listen to news, and watch interviews of influential political figures, while on the other hand I would read my Bible, play guitar, and watch video teachings of my favorite pastors.

Moreover, even though I loved watching football and world news, there was a strong yearning within me to find the answers to my childhood questions; hence, I began to take my Bible studies more seriously. However, during my time in secondary school, I began to pick up what I would call pieces of answers, although it wasn't enough to form a complete body of truth. One trait I developed all this while was the stamina and strength to pursue this truth.

This strength was stronger than whatever obstacle I encountered along the way.Thereafter I finished secondary school, I went straight to the university and was given admission to zoology, now renamed animal and environmental biology. My university days were turbulent for me because I was suffering from an identity crisis, I didn't know what I wanted and where I was going in life. This was due to several factors, chiefly among them being peer pressure and the feeling of not wanting to be left out. One day I had a discussion at home with my neighbor, and that led to several other discussions that landed us on the Bible. He made a frantic attempt at persuading me. He explained certain biblical concepts to me that made sense, and I became even more interested to learn more.

However, after my university, I proceeded with the compulsory one-year national service. One of the plans I had during my service year was to read the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. One of those days while reading thee, I encountered a truth that changed my life forever. I did not finish reading Genesis when I realized that the seed that was promised in Genesis was Jesus and that Jesus Christ is God Almighty. It was like a huge burden was lifted off. I was like, God! So the entire Bible is about Jesus, and Jesus is God! I jumped up in excitement and celebrated. One thing about the joy that comes out of God's word is that it doesn't end the moment you learn it. The joy comes fresh at you each time you meditate or ponder on it. This is the difference between the joy that comes out of Bible truth and the one that comes out of material things. Jesus 's joy lasts forever.Right from the day I discovered this truth, my life has never remained the same.

It changed my worldview. I now approach my study of the Bible from a place of absolute conviction about the character of God. So each time I read and fellowship with God through the study of the scriptures, I become so blessed that I feel the need to share the good news with other people, which is what I think everyone should be doing. Unfortunately, some people think it's a job mainly for pastors. On a lighter note, I love action movies a lot, Netflix standards by the way.

Dreams and Visions.

I want my life to mean more; I want to make a positive impact in the lives of men and women around the world. I am of the opinion that living a life of service and living for other people is better than living just for oneself. Therefore, beyond gathering material wealth, which in itself is not bad, we should deliberately reach out to people and be a blessing to their lives by introducing Jesus to them and getting them established in God's word. Social Life:All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Passion has a way of overhauling your life in general. I remember when I used to watch all Chelsea matches. By the way, I am a Chelsea fan. Today I only watch their matches when I'm less busy, but I don't miss the big games. I love events and ceremonies because they afford me the opportunity to reminisce on life generally. I love weddings, baby naming ceremonies, launchings, dinner nights, and funerals.

Funerals for me are always an opportunity to reflect and number my days and apply wisdom.Today, the world is such a small place, a global village, if you like. Attending transcontinental events wouldn't be a bad idea; I look forward to it. I love genuine friendship from people who are honest and sincere. I dare say that a good friend is worth more than rubble.

Quiet Moments.I love my quiet moments; these are times I use to think, plan, strategize, and create. Moments when I can do a lot of personal stuff, like praying, reading, meditating, pondering, reflecting, etc. Everybody needs these moments. I sometimes use this moment to critique myself and make necessary adjustments.

Family Life,As a single guy, my parents and siblings are always there for me. They have my back anytime. I usually advise friends whose parents are alive to spend as much time as they can with them. Because you will not always be around. I consider myself lucky for the gifts of my dad and mom. Truly they have been a blessing to my life.

The sacrifices and commitments they have given me are incredibly awesome. I know I cannot repay them enough. My prayers to God are for long life and sound health upon their lives. My extended family members have been super awesome too. I'm a blessed man, family-wise.

Political Views

I see politics as a game of interest, with so much power play. I believe every responsible citizen has a role to play to better his or her country. Either by way of contesting or in exercising one's franchise.

Unfortunately, this space has been left far too long for people who just want to grab power with little to no intention of improving the well-being of the citizenry. And when this unfortunately happens, everyone suffers. I believe that men and women with proven track records of delivering quality services should have access to the corridors of power.

As much as we Christians believe that there is a better life that our Jesus Christ shall give to us upon his second appearance, we should also not relent in demanding from our government basic amenities like clean water and energy. quality education, affordable healthcare, gender equality, freedom of expression, etc. You don't need rocket science to achieve this. I believe that everybody should be an advocate of good governance. If everybody can abide by the golden rule, which says, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," the world will be a better place.

Welcome to the Hive community @nakiworld!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:
