PukuGreetings to all my pukufriends. I present you this instrumental music video recorded at PukuEstudio titled: We have reached the point of no return (Original Song) - Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 7 - by @nahupuku - 2024, which I recorded with my SG guitar, pukudrums and @orimusic like a special guest at bass. I hope you like it and it's my new video for this week of the Hive Vibes Web3 Music Contest.
For this week, I was inspired this week by prog rock, Im very glad that Adrian Bellew ex King Crimson make a super group with Danny Carey from Tool for make prog 80`s KC albums with Tony Levin, I mean this will be a blowing mind music material and well, I like a lot this kind of music and I wanna try an experimental prog song with some reagge, latin and metal rock music fusion. I hope that you like it
The method that I use to create this song its similar but not the same to the previous songs that I release, but, it's that we made the record in one take. No rehearsal or prior listening. I let myself go with the flow of the rhythm on the spot, thinking it's another musician playing drums, it's like I'm jamming in a rehearsal room with some friends, in this case, with @orimusic at bass: both instruments in one take. And then, I edit fast. I sync them up and plug in the guitar. I listen to a few seconds of the bass to get the tones quickly since the 5-string bass has a different tuning than the guitar and when I have them, I play the whole track and record the guitar all at once. All at once. And it's super organic. It's totally a conversation of both sonorities.

Si! Siempre me gusta compartirlo ya que hay muchas personas que me preguntan. Me pasó algo curioso que fue, que al mostrarle este tema a una amiga que oye mucha música y rock progresivo, me dijo que le había sonado similar a Cowboy Bebop. Que si la conocía. Y le dije que si! Que efectivamente soy MUY fan, que tengo la película, ví toda la serie animada y que además estoy viendo el live action en Netflix. Jeje

No son patrones comunes de un ritmo en particular. Pero bueno, para eso son los retos. Me gusta hacer conversar los instrumentos. Creo que es algo hermoso para generar un lenguaje orientado al free jazz
Este jamming está muy bueno, se nota la fusión de géneros, está muy interesante, tienes bastante rapidez en la batería.

Siii yo también me quedé sorprendido de la rapidez jeje debe ser los entrenamientos del gym que están haciendo efecto. Porque cuando grabé no me di cuenta como tal porque fue una sola toma y estaba oyendo a Ori tocar. Pero luego al ver el vídeo editándolo dije coye sonó rápido que locura jajaja
