Conceptual Theory: Emerging Definition: The Pukuinstrumento: The Pukuinstrumento (Padilla, 2008-2026) is defined as a playful sculptural and technological percussion installation, constituted as a device of aesthetic sovereignty. Unlike conventional modern instruments, the Pukuinstrumento operates as a living organ of sonic reincarnation, where matter (wood, metal, drumheads) and code (Python/Phonopaper) converge to “paint sound.”

From the perspective of Qualitative Research (Martínez, 2004), the Pukuinstrumento functions as an instrument for collecting sensitive data, allowing the researcher-creator to access layers of ancestral memory that written language cannot name. Likewise, it falls within the scope of Sensitive Netnography (Narváez & Carmona, 2017), as it is the bridge that materializes collective imaginaries and unofficial knowledge in the contemporary environment, transforming percussion into an act of epistemic disobedience.

It is, in essence, a machinery of symbolic justice that allows for the execution of a “Tribal Tech,” where the pulse of Chief Guaicaipuro is updated through digital artistic praxis.

Definición Emergente: El Pukuinstrumento
El Pukuinstrumento (Padilla, 2008-2026) se define como una instalación percutiva escultórica y tecnológica de carácter lúdico, constituida como un dispositivo de soberanía estética. A diferencia de los instrumentos convencionales de la modernidad, el Pukuinstrumento opera como un órgano vivo de reencarnación sonora, donde la materia (madera, metal, parches) y el código (Python/Phonopaper) convergen para "pintar el sonido".

Desde la perspectiva de la Investigación Cualitativa (Martínez, 2004), el Pukuinstrumento funciona como un instrumento de recolección de datos sensibles, permitiendo al investigador-creador acceder a estratos de la memoria ancestral que el lenguaje escrito no alcanza a nombrar.
