ThreeTuneTuesday - Best Bond Theme - PLUS WIN 200 FUN TOKENS!

Hello Hive Music Lovers!,

Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.

This week we get to see my favorite top 3 Bond themes. It has been tough to narrow it down and there may be a surprise or two in my choice. Last week it seemed that Sean Connery was the most popular Bond in the comments followed by Roger Moore.

Some of the popular Bond themes suggested were Adele and Duran Duran. I think they are both great Bond themes but sadly they don't feature in my top 6, although they would surely be 7th and 8th.

In third place, is A-ha - Living Daylights. The film is with Timothy Daltan and was nothing remarkable, but as I am a big 80s fan, loved the soundtrack. Probably a View to a Kill would also make the top 3 if I hadn't played it so much already. On the Bond score we have Timothy Daltann 1, Roger Moore 2 and Sean Connery 1.

I know @Bozz would not agree, but I think Shirley Bassey does a great job with Goldfinger. A great film and bad guy. I think no top Bond theme would be complete without Shirley in it. Sean has managed to catch up Roger now and it is even with 2-2. Who will take the crown?

The number one Bond theme has to be the awesome The Spy Who Loved Me which encapsulates the whole Bond series to me and I think the magic that they have been trying to recreate with Daniel Craig.

This is a great Bond film, if arguably not one of the best, with that hilarious 70s flare and the best Bond intro and ending. The intro is very memorable and gives you a good chuckle when I think of it.

So in the end Roger pips Sean to the post of most Bond themes in my top 6!

Oh wow, I honestly had no idea that A-ha ever did one of those. That was really well done, too! Fun to listen to.

Spy themes are usually really quite fun, upbeat, and draw people in. Nice selection!

I'm glad to see you included "Nobody Does it Better" in there. Such a great Bond song. I used to have a playlist that had all the of the theme songs in it, but I can't seem to find it now. I wanted to go back and look at it.

haha yeah, my spelling is sort of deteriorating at the moment! I would hope you wouldnt have a shaken or stirred Martin! 😅

I do love the Carly Simon song and this Bond scene is the most memorable for me from my childhood.

I cant believe you havent seen the Godfather either, although it took me a long time to watch the trilogy through as it can be slow going at times.

I think Marlan Brando is a great actor though and the young Al Pacino are pretty good to watch.

Nice one man, these transported me back to when I say these movies, I am looking forward to eventually introducing my kids to the Bond movies, I think they'll like them. I can only ever think of Austin Powers now when I see anything about the Spy who loved me :)

I feel you there. I believed them as a kid but see them more satorical like Austin Powers and Peter Sellars these days. Mike Myers was brilliant as Austin Powers though, I havent seen him in anything recently though.
