Three Tune Tuesday - Merry Christmas Edition

Hello Hive Music Lovers!,

Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.

Although Christmas was two days ago, we are all still in the Christmas spirit and therefore I present my Christmas edition of #ThreeTuneTuesday. Today I present three of my favorite Christmas songs that help get me in the Christmas spirit.

The first tune is by the famous John Lennon and I think it is pertinent with the latest war going on created by the ruling classes that create suffering for all those affected. I hope that it will be ended soon.

The second song is a personal favorite of mine by the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. It isn't Christmas until this song has been played. I tried to dig up a photo of me on the Ha'Penny Bridge but didn't have one on this laptop, so maybe next year.

The final song is from the one and only legendary Nat King Cole who sang this amazing song that has stood the test of time. This song I think really is a masterpiece and a pleasure to listen to around Christmas.

Merry Christmas Steve
A good job I read yours first, I am composing mine now too and I was going to put the last one in mine! Nat King Cole is awesome and one of my mother-in-law's favourite singers but of course I do love my chestnuts!
The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl well I think I hear that at least once a day at this of year and it is a Christmas classic!
Leave some chocolates for me please😁

I do love Nat King Cole. A close 2nd choice was old Blue eyes himself, he has a couple of classics that I like.

My wife has taken away the chocolates now Ed. I am starting my diet early. 😥

I'm not a fan of Christmas music really, but the Christmas Song by Nat King Cole is pretty iconic. You can't really beat that one! A nice collection of tunes here!

One of the main reasons I have satellite radio is so I don't have to listen to Christmas music unless I want to. The other reason is so I don't have to listen to people talking in the morning!

Oh I feel you there. I can't stand the news interruptions and banal chatter on the radio. I only usually play YouTube though but could play online radio when I think about it.

How I love the last song. This is actually the first time I am hearing these songs, and I love them so much.

Love these songs. The Pogues song was new to me, and I'm glad I got to listen to it. That song has some serious heart to it!

Well well well, You've picked three proper good ones here. I hope it was a great Christmas for you and yours. I've always loved that John Lennon song, it is very powerful and The Pogues Fairytale of New York will always be my favorite Christmas song, so that definitely hit the spot. Topped off with a dollop of Nat King Cole, excellent work my friend.
