RE: Three Tune Tuesday #150 .:. complicated easy-listening

She did add something nice to the Britney cover. I do like a cover version if they bring something new to it, I was listening to a cover version if a song last week by 2 different artists, both different and great, so an artist can make a song I think.

I love that Yolanda tune, I didn't realize it was the Sherlock theme too!

definitely so. "the song itself is nothing, the performance is everything!" as they say. but a good song adds to it +100% points too.

not sure if I understood you correct -- did you mean, you was listening to two covers of 'Oops I did it again' ?..

Not oops I did it again, but when a cover version makes a whole new genre, it's impressive sometimes.

I like this cover of a Bowie classic, even though I'm a huge Bowie fan

Ah, understand now what you was talking about. I love originals, but pretty much curious about the covers as well; it may give an intresting point of view on a certain tune. In the past I used to add to my #ttt posts different versions of the song, and plan to create more blogs like 'a history of one song'. see you! and a !BEER

'The Man who sold the world' is a nice example of a great cover that may boost popularity of a song quite sufficiently. Myself, I got acquainted with Bowie original first, so my heart belongs to it. But Nirvana's cover is very, very enjoyable... maybe even better than original 👍
