"Follow Me" (Sam Feldt, Rita Ora) - VIBES🎵 / WEB3 Music Competition Week 14 / Bass cover
Week 14 of this amazing competition encourages us to bring songs from the famous DJ and producer Sam Feldt, a guy who has pleasantly surprised me with his talent and the quality of his songs, it was really enriching to know his work. Among so many possible songs to make my humble bass covers, I chose "Follow Me", a song in which Rita Ora contributes her beautiful voice and that has stuck in my mind with its good rhythm and exceptional lyrics.
I tried to make the bass line I recorded not so invasive since the song as it is is more than perfect, so yes you may notice it, but believe me it won't destabilize the song, my intention was just to be a small complement in a big universe. I used a pretty basic pluggin to give body and firmness to the bass sound, I tried to make it make as much sense as possible so it would fit in the right way. I must say that recording this cover has been a great experience, I don't usually listen to this genre of music, but I think from now on it will be different.

Yup, this genre lends itself to the addition of different instruments. The bass in particular was not present in the song, so I thought it would be nice to add a simple base.
