Two musical facets that must be completed

Just by reading my username, you can tell that music is a fundamental part of the content I create. And well, while it's true that I also focus on other niches and activities, from the beginning the plan was always to create musical content. That's how my adventure in this blockchain began, together with my wife. We decided to form a duo, in which she sings while I play the guitar. That way, we were able to greatly improve our musical skills, and that is something we are very grateful to the Hive music communities for, as they have always supported us a lot.
So, in my particular case, as a guitarist, I gradually improved in that area, since my musical performance since I started was mainly on the bass. It was with the bass that I had my greatest musical experiences, as I had the opportunity to play in a band, in which I was able to perform live a few times, and that is undoubtedly something I value very much. It was, if you will, a small dream come true, since, like any musician, you always long to play in front of an audience.

On this blockchain, I have had the opportunity to improve my skills on both the bass and the guitar. Being, at least at one time, an active user in music communities, I was able to feel more and more comfortable. However, in recent months, I have felt a slump in my enthusiasm for music, and that is probably because I now have other occupations that surely take up my time. But music is still present in my daily life, as I listen to my favorite bands, watch music videos, and enjoy music in general, at least by listening to it.
But, as the title of the post says, those two musical facets, both guitar and bass, must be completed. I say this because, although it is true that I can play some songs, there is still a lot of room for improvement. And for that, as everyone knows, it takes hours and hours of practice, perhaps even enrolling in a music school, where I can learn basic and academic musical fundamentals, which will undoubtedly allow me to improve and deepen my musical skills.

The above has always been a pending task. In a way, I have felt quite limited by not being able to acquire other knowledge that would be quite complex to learn in a didactic way. But, one way or another, I always try to stay in the loop with my instruments. While it is true that I have not recorded any covers in recent weeks, I sometimes pick up my guitar to play a few notes, a simple song, which allows me to keep the few things I know so far fresh in my mind.
I am writing these words because today I spent the day thinking, reflecting on how little progress I have made in recent months and that I undoubtedly feel the need to evolve with the aforementioned instruments. I've been looking into some music teachers, but I haven't been able to finalize anything yet. I hope to find the time and motivation to devote myself to what I love, which is mainly playing the bass and then, of course, the guitar. Without a doubt, these two elements are part of my lifestyle.

I really feel your pain about your musical instrument bro. It's is very hard learning music instruments without a tutor. I also went through this stage too before I cought to where I am today. It took me much time and money and also consistency to get here because I have to sort out materials from friends and online also. I hope you get a better teacher soon, so it helps you advance your play
Thank you for your words. It can certainly be costly in terms of both money and time to practice a musical instrument seriously, but it is what we should ultimately do.
Yeah bro. You are very correct. We should just improve ourselves to get better.
When I read your words, I felt like you were writing about me, that's exactly what happens to me with the violin, except that I don't have a developed technique, the sound is messy, and I still have trouble playing in tune, but I realized that I definitely need a guide, a music teacher who knows how to point out my mistakes and guide me because I'm stuck and don't know what I'm doing wrong haha 😂 I just review the little I learned from the previous course to improve a little, but I'm missing that guidance, that refinement that is undoubtedly very necessary.
I hope you can find a music tutor and continue to improve on both instruments. Although I've heard you play and you're great 🙌 never lose that excitement for music, it's clear that you're passionate about it, and I'm sure you'll manage to balance everything 🙏
Good luck, and let the music play! ❤️🦉
It is undoubtedly important to find a guide to improve your skills on a musical instrument, as these are not basic instruments, so there is little we can do on our own, even if we can play a couple of songs.
Thank you for your good wishes and your kind comment. Best regards!

Ya te sigo bro. Gracias por tu visita.
What I love most about Hive is that it motivates people to improve and excel. That's how it was when I was most active here, and also in the experience of my husband, friends, and some family members. People who truly want to do good work learn and shine. I always thought you were very good from the beginning, but I see that you're even better now. A true professional who writes these words with pride. Congratulations Omar.
It's true, I have no doubt that Hive helped us improve in many areas that we might have left aside in other spaces, so in that sense we should be grateful.
Thank you for your encouraging words, you honestly refresh my desire to keep going. Big hug!
