My participation in week 16 is very special for me because in this week I evoke very significant times. Years ago I was part of a Hard Rock band called “Alianza Sagrada”, there I played bass and it was basically my first experience of this kind. In those times I was much more novice than now, but thanks to the support of the other members of the band I was able to adapt perfectly, especially thanks to my friend Alfredo Herrera who is the founder and composer of the band, he was always there encouraging me and making me feel important.

So the theme “Roots” fits perfectly with this presentation, my musical roots lie in my beginnings in that band that I remember with great affection and esteem, it was there where I could play live in front of an audience and that was a great experience. The song “Dragon” was the one I most enjoyed playing because of the great energy it gives off, it has riffs that I love and that make me feel a lot of adrenaline, it was definitely good to play those chords once again.

Luckily, in those years we were able to record some songs in a studio, so I was able to take the song, remove the original bass with the Moises app and then record this new line. To mix the song, I used Cubase 5, there I used a plugin to give it an interesting sound, although of course it could be better. I should clarify that I only recorded a sample of the song.

I hope my participation will be to everyone's liking, best regards!

Hello @musicandreview
It doesn't surprise me that making this cover is very emotional, given that you played in this band in your early days. You are excellent with the instrument. I admire the talent you have

a short song, which makes me remeber animes intros. It also reminded me a little bit of a Venezuelan band called Lumendei (It was a kind of European power metal).
What was the name of the band you played in?

Yes it does, it does have a good energy to tripe it especially live, it reminds me of your story when I was in a band, as vocalist and guitarist, I was lousy in both technically speaking but in spirit I was indomitable... times of youth, eternal youth... that is the greatest power of Youth 😀

Wow, so you were in a band, interesting. And yes, that song live used to be faster and therefore gave off more energy.

Long live the power of youth! 😅
