I didn't know about the existence of this anime, I think it's a drama to which you have to be patient, but it's still interesting. It is true that the animation is not so good, but I think it fulfills its purpose.
On the other hand, I understand that when someone important leaves, even though time goes by, their figure will always remain in our mind, there are feelings that will never disappear, but that's normal.

The shamisen performances there were something that I thought (at first) would be boring, but it turns out entertaining and emotionally provoking. It indeed did fulfill its purpose because, even though it's not that really visually great, the integration between music and animation turned out well.
