There is no doubt that the music of the 80's has a great influence even today. I am not a great connoisseur of bands or singers from that era, but I do listen to many songs that still resonate today even though they are decades old. There are bands that I really like that were born in those years, I could quickly mention Dream Theater, Metallica, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, among others.
Bon Jovi is also one of those bands that emerged with a lot of strength in the 80's and left quite an important legacy, I'm sure you've heard many of their songs even involuntarily. “Livin' on a Prayer” is a trademark of this band and it's precisely the one I'm going to share with you through this bass cover.
Lyrics
He's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough
Gina works the diner all day, working for her man
She brings home her pay, for love, mmm, for love
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot"
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it, I swear
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
When he used to make it talk so tough, ooh, it's tough
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night, Tommy whispers
"Baby, it's okay, someday"
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Livin' on a prayer
You live for the fight when that's all that you've got
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it, I swear
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it, I swear
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Whoa oh, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it, I swear
Whoa oh

To record this song I used the Cubase5 application, I also used the Moises application to remove the original bass line, so you will only hear the line I recorded. I hope my participation this week will be to everyone's liking, best regards!
