"In the mood" (1940) - VIBES🎵 / WEB3 Music Competition Week 37 / (Bass cover)

I must admit that it was a challenge for me to find a song to share with the community considering the theme of this week, honestly I don't know many songs from the 30's or 40's and in that sense I was left blank when thinking of an option. So I researched on songs that were successful in those years, but none of them were of the rock genre which is the genre I like the most, in fact, I think that in those years rock did not even exist, so in order to comply with the theme I had to choose a song of a musical genre totally new to me.

So today I share a bass cover of “In the mood”, a song by Glenn Miller from 1940 of the Big band genre which I could recognize when I listened to it, the truth is I have no idea why I know it, but maybe you have heard it too. It was interesting to study the bass of this song since it is totally different from what I usually play, but I had a lot of fun in the process, it was definitely good to dabble in this interesting musical genre.

To record this song I used the Cubase5 application, I also used the Moises application to remove the original bass line, so you will only hear the line I recorded. I hope my participation this week will be to everyone's liking, best regards!
