Hive Music Festival Week 128 - Round 2 // Cuando no es como debiera ser (Bass Cover) By @musicandreview
If you are a person who likes to play bass and additionally have a taste for rock, then at some point in your life you must play some songs of the Mexican band PXNDX, I am particularly attracted to the sound with which are mastered the bass lines of this excellent band which we no longer hear much on the radio or on the internet, but which had at least a decade sounding hard everywhere. It's not the first time I've shared a song from this band in the community, but it's been a while since then, so I saw the opportunity to bring another one of their greatest hits.
“Cuando no es como debiera ser” is a song from 2005 and belongs to the album ‘Para ti con desprecio’, a great album that also contains other hits such as ‘Cita en el quirófano’, ‘Disculpa los malos pensamientos’, among others. My particular memories of this song are from high school, I remember that I had classmates with whom I shared musical tastes and in that sense we used to listen a lot to this song along with other songs by My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, Candy 66, as well as another dozen bands that I can't remember right now.
Sí eres una persona a la cual le gusta tocar el bajo y adicionalmente tienes gustos por el rock, entonces en algún momento de tu vida debes tocar algunas canciones de la banda mexicana PXNDX, a mí en lo particular me atrae mucho el sonido con el cual están masterizadas las líneas de bajo de esa excelente banda la cual ya no escuchamos mucho en la radio o en internet, pero que sí tuvo al menos una década sonando durísimo en todas partes. No es primera vez que comparto una canción de ésta banda en la comunidad, pero ya pasó bastante tiempo desde eso, así que vi la oportunidad de traer otro de sus grandes éxitos.
“Cuando no es como debiera ser” es una canción del año 2005 y corresponde al álbum “Para ti con desprecio”, un discazo que también contiene otros éxitos como “Cita en el quirófano”, “Disculpa los malos pensamientos”, entre otros. Mis recuerdos particulares de ésta canción son del bachillerato, recuerdo que tenía compañeros de clase con los cuales compartía gustos musicales y en ese sentido solíamos escuchar mucho esa canción junto con otras de My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, Candy 66, así como otra decena de bandas que ahorita mismo no recuerdo.

To record this bass cover I downloaded the song from the band's official Youtube channel, then, I used the Moises application to remove the original bass line, that way I could record a completely clean line. I applied a couple of effects to give prominence to the bass since it is obviously the central element in my performances, but I tried not to overdo it in modifying the original sound previously recorded. I hope my presentation this week is to everyone's liking, I really like to humbly share my bass covers with the community, best regards!
Para grabar éste cover de bajo descargué la canción del canal oficial de Youtube de la banda, luego, usé la aplicación Moises para eliminar la línea de bajo original, de esa forma pude grabar una línea completamente limpia. Apliqué un par de efectos para dar protagonismo al bajo ya que evidentemente es el elemento central en mis presentaciones, pero traté de no exagerar en modificar el sonido original previamente grabado. Espero que mi presentación de ésta semana sea del agrado de todos, de verdad me gusta compartir humildemente mis covers de bajo con la comunidad. ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

Que desbloqueo de memorias has hecho con este tema. Me encantaba PXNDX de ese tiempo. Recuerdo que en mi playlist tenia "Nunca nadie nos podrá parar", "Disculpa los Malos pensamientos" entre otros. Sabía que despertaría fibras del pasado a algunos con ésta canción, esa banda sonó bastante en la década de los 2000 y dejó muchos éxitos musicales.
