"Flowers" - VIBES🎵 / WEB3 Music Competition Week 5 / Bass Cover by @musicandreview

One of the things I have to recognize about this musical competition is that it has once again awakened my love for playing bass. After many years of just trying to play guitar, I feel that this is a kind of renaissance where I'm finding a lot of fun and curiosity to explore new rhythms. I always liked playing Rock and Metal songs on the bass, but lately I have found in Pop a different motivation.

I consider that I am still very new to the bass, but it is the instrument with which I feel most comfortable. Unfortunately I have little time to practice, but every time I have the opportunity to play those thick strings I give the best of me. I hope with time to increase the level to give you better and better entries in this space where spectacular artists are presented day by day.

For this post I bring you "Flowers", a song that became popular recently thanks to Miley Cyrus. It has been a hit on YouTube and on the different social networks, it has a very catchy rhythm and the bass in particular I like it a lot because I find it very fun to play.

As usual, I took the track from the artist's official channel and used the Moises App to remove the bass from the original track so that only my bass line is heard. In this recording I left the ambient sound in its entirety so that the string noise can be heard, somehow I feel it's interesting to pay attention to that particular sound.
