Hello everyone! I welcome you all to Hive Music Festival week 157 round 1. My name is mksheddy and will be doing a song cover of Praise Ye the lord By Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche the senior pastor of Dunamis church international.

Whenever I sit to write about praising the lord, my heart gets overwhelmed by the sense of gratitude. I'm so glad to share my testimony with you today; this song has been a constant source of comfort and strength in my day to day life.

The bible is full of scriptures that shows the importance of praising God. In Psalm 100:4 we read, enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name. This part of scripture showed clearly how important it is for us to approach God's presence with praises, worship and thanksgiving. Similarly, Psalms 150:6 states " let everything that has breath praise the lord" This connote that everything created under the heavens should praise and Worship the lord most high.

Praising and worshiping God has numerous benefits for the believer. We are reminded of God's mercy, his love, his kindness and goodness whenever we life our voice to praise him. Praising God also helps us to focus on God's superior power and might, rather than focusing and worrying about our problems and circumstances.

Of the strategies used by the children of Israelite in the old testament to win wars was praise. In second Chronicles 20:21-22 we saw how the Israelite appointed the levites to sing to the lord with praises and to praise him in the beauty of his holiness, as they went out before the army and said, give thanks to the lord for his steadfast love endured forever. As the stick to praising and worshiping him, God gave the victory.

In a nutshell, the song "Praise ye the lord" has been a source of strength to me over the years and I'm encourage everyone here to make praise part of his or her life. You can dance to the lord or sing to him a joyful song or a declaration of his might, power and rulership. I believe as we do thus daily, God is going to increase us in all ramifications. Amen🙌
