Día de concierto y reencuentros ❤️ [Esp/Eng]
La música me ha llenado el alma de momentos inolvidables, me ha permitido conocer a personas que han dejado una huella importante en mi vida y sin duda tengo muchísimos recuerdos en las épocas donde estuve involucrada en algún movimiento o expresión musical.
El viernes pasado viví una experiencia muy emotiva relacionada a la música, una amiga me invitó a su concierto de grado para poder obtener el título de licenciada en la mension de: Canto solista sinfónico, esto es un requisito indispensable para poder graduarse de la Universidad de las artes (UNEARTE)
Les digo que fue muy emotivo para mí porque ella fué mi compañera de clases ya que yo también cursé algunos semestres la misma carrera pero por motivos personales no pude continuar. Inmediatamente comencé a subir esas escaleras miles de recuerdos invadieron mi mente, hace 10 años mis compañeros y yo fuimos los primeros estudiantes cuando se inauguró esta universidad en mi ciudad y por muchos motivos la mayoría no pude continuar, varias han emigrado y unos pocos aún siguen tratando de terminar su carrera.
Me sentí muy feliz al entrar en el salón de usos múltiples donde sería este concierto y ver caras conocidas apoyando a nuestra amiga en este momento tan especial. El concierto fué pautado a las 10am y aproximadamente 10 minutos después se dió inicio a este acto. Debo confesarles que yo estaba muy nerviosa por mi amiga porque sé lo que significa estar allí parada y además cuando ví que en el jurado estaban profesores muy queridos y respetados estaba aún más nerviosa así que hasta que no pasó la primera canción no pude relajarme 🤣
Mi amiga tuvo que adaptar su concierto porque no contaba con un pianista para tocar las piezas que corresponden al repertorio sinfónico, así que tuve que escoger canciones populares pero adaptarlas a la técnica lírica como pueden escuchar en el video. Quienes la acompañan también fueron estudiantes de la universidad, quien toca el cuatro es su esposo y en la percusión está un amigo muy querido de nosotros.
Algo que me gustó y me causó ternura es que mi amiga escogió dos canciones que están en su trabajo de grado y son composiciones de su abuelo materno quien fué un cultor Venezolano que dejó obras escritas y grabadas también y mi amiga se dedicó a recopilar ese material y en su concierto cantó dos de sus temas, muy hermosos por cierto, eso dejo encantado al público.
Del repertorio que interpretó puedo decir que mis favoritas fueron, flor de loto y Elevación, la manera en que las interpretó, el sentimiento que le impregnó a esos temas me atraparon. Para su última interpretación tenía una sorpresa, un invitado especial que la acompañó en la mandolina, el maestro Néstor Leiva, un querido profesor que aunque ya no forma parte de la plantilla de profesores de la universidad tuvo la amabilidad de hacer presencia en su concierto y acompañarla en su instrumento.
Fué un día hermoso de reencuentros, de mucha música y de unión por el logro de nuestra nueva licenciada, esperando que lluevan éxitos para ella en esta nueva etapa.
Music has filled my soul with unforgettable moments, it has allowed me to meet people who have left an important mark in my life and without a doubt I have many memories of the times when I was involved in some musical movement or expression.
Last Friday I lived a very emotional experience related to music, a friend invited me to her graduation concert to obtain the degree in the mension of: Symphonic soloist singing, this is an indispensable requirement to graduate from the University of the Arts (UNEARTE).
I tell you that it was very emotional for me because she was my classmate since I also studied some semesters the same career but for personal reasons I could not continue. Immediately I started to climb those stairs thousands of memories invaded my mind, 10 years ago my classmates and I were the first students when this university was inaugurated in my city and for many reasons most of them could not continue, several have emigrated and a few are still trying to finish their career.
I was very happy to enter the multipurpose room where this concert would be and see familiar faces supporting our friend in this special moment. The concert was scheduled at 10am and approximately 10 minutes later the concert began. I must confess that I was very nervous for my friend because I know what it means to be standing there and also when I saw that in the jury were very dear and respected teachers I was even more nervous so until the first song did not happen I could not relax.

My friend had to adapt her concert because she did not have a pianist to play the pieces that correspond to the symphonic repertoire, so I had to choose popular songs but adapt them to the lyrical technique as you can hear in the video. Those who accompany her were also students at the university, her husband plays the cuatro and a very dear friend of ours is on percussion.
Something that I liked and caused me tenderness is that my friend chose two songs that are in her degree work and are compositions of her maternal grandfather who was a Venezuelan cultor who left written and recorded works as well and my friend was dedicated to collect that material and in her concert sang two of his songs, very beautiful indeed, that left the audience delighted.
From the repertoire she interpreted I can say that my favorites were, lotus flower and Elevation, the way she interpreted them, the feeling she impregnated in those songs caught me. For her last performance she had a surprise, a special guest who accompanied her on the mandolin, the maestro Néstor Leiva, a beloved professor who although he is no longer part of the teaching staff of the university was kind enough to be present at her concert and accompany her on her instrument.
It was a beautiful day of reunions, of much music and of union for the achievement of our new graduate, hoping that it rains success for her in this new stage.
