Hive music festival Week 185 Round 2 | Cover "Talking to the moon"

Gente bella y hermosa de Hive, les envío un saludo y abrazo virtual, espero que se encuentren bien y les doy la bienvenida a este espacio donde suelo compartir mi gran pasión por la música.

Les cuento que he tenido una semana maravillosa, tenía mucho tiempo sin sentirme plena y en paz con todo a mi alrededor, aprecio estos momentos en los que puedo ordenar mis pensamientos y mi vida también, así que en medio de este orden también pude darle espacio a mis pasatiempos y por supuesto también le dediqué su momento a la música.

Bien, estoy saliendo un poco de mi zona de confort, en esta oportunidad hago mi segundo video de la semana con la guitarra eléctrica de mi esposo pues a mi guitarra clásica se le partió una cuerda y pues hasta hoy fue que pude reponerla, lo bueno de toda esta situación es que le agarré el gusto a la guitarra eléctrica y probablemente seguiré experimentando un poco con ella.

No suelo cantar en ingles, no es mi fuerte y a veces tengo el tiempo muy limitado para practicar mis canciones, si a eso le sumamos mi pésima memoria para letras la verdad es todo un reto para mí y que de vez en cuando me gusta tomarlo así le dedique más tiempo para concretar mi presentación. Creo que la canción que escogí se prestó para hacer de esta experiencia algo más fácil y llevadera, pues te queda clavado en la mente con su melodía y su profundidad, puedo decir que es una canción enigmatica.

Me alegra seguir compartiendo buena música con ustedes. Sin más preámbulos, les agradezco su tiempo. Espero que disfruten de esta interpretación. Nos vemos pronto.

I just wanted to tell you that I’ve had a wonderful week. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this fulfilled and at peace with everything around me. I cherish these moments when I can get my thoughts—and my life—in order, so amidst all this organization, I was also able to make time for my hobbies and, of course, I set aside some time for music as well.

Well, I’m stepping a little outside my comfort zone. This time, I’m making my second video of the week using my husband’s electric guitar because a string on my classical guitar snapped, and I wasn’t able to replace it until today. The silver lining in all this is that I’ve really gotten into playing the electric guitar, and I’ll probably keep experimenting with it a bit.

I don’t usually sing in English—it’s not my strong suit—and sometimes I have very limited time to practice my songs. Add to that my terrible memory for lyrics, and honestly, it’s quite a challenge for me. But every now and then I like to take it on, so I’m dedicating more time to it to polish my performance.I think the song I chose helped make this experience a little easier and more bearable, because its melody and depth really stick in your mind; I’d say it’s an enigmatic song.
