Selecting - one tango saved me from work
Oh well... I'm procrastinating again... It's so strange when you decide to do a lot of things in one day, you start with your list and everything goes fine, but at one point you start doing anything other than what you planned that you need to finish.
This post is created precisely because of that situation. Putting off what I need to do. You see, this stack of music scores was placed in the middle of the living room at 14:51.
It is 17:15 as I write these first lines and the pile of those papers is still there, without many changes. These are the music scores that I currently have. Too much. I have to select what is classical music, what is light music, what is for students and I assume it will be a part of those unspecified. I will throw away those that no longer have a function (a few weeks ago I already threw away a stunt). I must do this.
I sat down on the floor in front of this stack and began to open the scores. I didn't get to look much. After selecting this Hungarian Rhapsody by Franz Liszt and placing it in the section of classical music, the next score was a volume of tango music.
El Choclo by Ángel Gregorio Villoldo Arroyo. I used to play this piece a long time ago, so I was curious if I remembered it. {that is a lie! I just wanted to procrastinate 😂}
So yes, I went to play the piano. Btw, it is sick. The sustain pedal is not working well, so the one who is now on Hive Fest will be asked to fix it when arrives home. At least I hope it can be fixed. Mipiano is not in her best shape either, it is my second day of a migraine episode so since this stack of papers appeared on the floor and these lines were written some painkillers were taken.
Is anything missing here? Yes, the video with the playing part of this piece, El Choclo. Seems that I remember it although it is not perfect (it never is 😉). I guess I will have to continue with my task of selecting the scores, if you see me around it means I am procrastinating again. 😂

Sí, el resto dejo para mañana, ya hay una torre de partituras para tirar. La que toqué es Candilejas. Es muy vieja la canción - de Charlie Chaplin, me la dejó mi alumno del edificio donde había fuego una vez. La versión para piano suena más bonito de lo que encuentro en youtube, así que no dejo link (no es mucho de mi estilo)

These migraines you mention so often must be hard to bear and make everything you have to do so much more difficult. I hope the pills you're taking are helping. Alas, when I see you with all those catalogs of sheet music you have to sort through I remember all the things I didn't do that I had planned. It's too bad, the time goes by so fast. I wish you to get rid of the migraines and forget about them... the rest will work out sooner or later.
I forgot to mention the tango. I know it, but I don't dance it and obviously can't sing it... I see you need some help to turn the score, it should be automated somehow, with AI probably.

We always have something to organize and sort out, sometimes more urgent and other times less important. Hahaha, turning the pages - I solved that by using digital scores and turning the pages with a Bluetooth pedal (I press it with my left foot when I need to turn the page) When in paper - well, then I still have to turn with my hands. but I am quick, don't you think? 😉
This is what I noticed too, @mipiano, you are very fast.
However, I find it complicated to coordinate so many body parts when playing the piano. It is miraculous, as miraculous as it happens with some performers who memorize the scores and sing in concerts without them.

No, no bebo tanto como en el horario que mencionas, pero sí que sé que muchos dicen que beber agua en esas cantidades ayuda. Gracias Pinero 😇

Wuao is spectacular tango amazing and romantic movements. On a piano playing tango and all those scores. I would like to go to Argentina to hear and see tango dancing, well and to learn.
Yes, Argentina is the place where tango is very present - it must be wonderful to see a live performance, but done well! ;)

Es interesante que a veces dar una clase tranquila o escuchar/tocar algo sí que ayuda (como remedio adicional además de las pastillas). Hoy ya estoy muy bien, y las actividades - varias - han seguido con normalidad! Gracias @mdrguez 😇

I don't know your musical knowledge background so I can't advise you any course (it can't be learned by a simple course though)
