Santa went swimming

We hadn't planned this afternoon's walk.

Tomorrow is Christmas... Just some years ago we used to spend this day preparing with a lot of enthusiasm for that great holiday. In the afternoon, fish would be prepared, fish stew to be precise, as generations in our family used to do. The last preparations around the house would already be finished and the aroma of cakes could be smelled from the kitchen. But now they are just memories that we recalled while taking this short walk.

Even though it was a brief walk and we touched on the topic of traditions with a bit of nostalgic feelings, we encountered some completely different scenes that confused us. You will see, a lot of confusion!

It could be also said that we saw a few different seasons during this walk. One Hiver, @bluemoon posted about spring yesterday and had a photo of a flower, a daffodil. And look, daffodils are here in front of the building where we live.

Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Reginae) also showed her feathers flowers, although we are still in December. When I already thought these were the signs of an early spring, the very next street brought the touch of another season.

A clear sign of autumn. I don't know how we shifted from spring to autumn, without seeing summer in those few steps that we made. But I had a dried leaf in my hand.

Two minutes later we arrived at this beach. A place that could be associated with summer. Swimming, sunbathing or doing whatever is your preference on a warm summer day. Maybe just being with your children in the playground.

Well, I am not that brave to enter the water one day before Christmas. I know some people gladly do it, I even have a friend, a Dutch friend who swims every day throughout the whole year. He also includes meditation on the seashore before swimming and claims that the sea is just good for his health. I believe it indeed works for him.

I would rather try to make towers from rocks, trying to find balance so they don't fall. A few days ago my husband watched a documentary on TV about architecture and some interesting buildings whose constructions were based on the balance of the weight. Though I can't place more than a few rocks it is still fun!

However, someone else had more fun than me! In the water.

So, I saw someone swimming in the sea but I didn't want to be a paparazzi and take a photo of that man... just the clothes that were left on the beach revealed the truth. It was him, Santa, who went swimming!!! And Rudolph, the rednosed Reindeer was also there, resting on the beach after a long journey!

Will he make it to arrive to all the places of the world and bring the presents if he is here in Spain, swimming?
