A song by Adele that finally comes from my piano

This is not another post of mine about rocks, I promise! 😁 The object you see in this first photo is here just to accompany a music post. 🎶

The other day I found this interesting rock on the beach and I took it home. It depends on the angle we look at it from and we can see a familiar shape. A heart. Although it has holes... I am sure that every person in this world felt at least once having holes in their heart. For any reason. It can be the simplest thing or the most complicated situation, it can bring some pain there in the chest.

However, people are sophisticated creatures, so they find ways to soothe moments when they feel hurt or broken, and perhaps the most powerful way to do this is through art. It's nothing new. We also see it in Greek tragedies that served as a kind of purifying emotional release. Catharsis.

When we fast forward a little in the history of mankind we arrive at musical forms that served to create an emotional effect on the audience. What is also interesting is that musicians used this form of artistic expression to compose music to alleviate their emotional struggles. They also wanted to leave their mark both through instrumental music and music that contained lyrics.

It is easy when there are lyrics in music to see what a certain musician/songwriter has wanted to express. Sometimes they write from their own experience and give their best to that music. What I don't know is whether the English singer-songwriter Adele wrote this song Someone Like You from her personal experience or not, but I know that she left a mark on many fans. Maybe she had holes in her heart so this popular song was born.

She also has real fans here on Hive, did you know that? I wanted to play this song for a long time, and then some very short parts appeared in another video of mine from a wedding. Today it comes as a complete song, played on my digital piano at home. But there is also a reason why it arrives exactly today. The trigger was my son who will have a small performance this Thursday and started practising today, nothing serious (no classical music or exam or anything else) just popular songs... he said like Adele songs, etc. 😁 That's it - the inspiration came from him, the rock accompanied the first part of the post and here comes the music:

Sometimes in our hearts there is a need for a melody, the perfect melody for the perfect day. I particularly love ‘El Cóndor Pasa’, it makes me fly in my imagination and visit unsuspected places.

Listening to the keyboard of your fingers, I feel that something is out of tune, but it's not the notes, it's the vibration that is produced in the microphone... When you are visually impaired from birth, like me, we perceive those sounds that, perhaps, go unnoticed.

El Cóndor Pasa is a beautiful tune, I like it too. In fact, I have searched for it now to listen to it while writing the comments.

I don't know, this is a digital piano which can't be out of tune but yes, the recording can be affected by the room or the way how it was recorded - in this case just with my cellphone as I didn't have time yesterday to connect the audio box through which I usually record the audio part

This is one of my all time favourite, I can listen it in loop, but this is the first time I've listened to a piano version, it's so beautiful. Thank you!!

Your birds are happy ones, if you always listen to such nice music as this song or Canon they also can enjoy the sound of that music 🎶

Thank you for being in the audience in this virtual way too! I didn't remember I could play this one in the Kingdom without limits 😅

Didn't know this one! I must confess that I'm not a connoisseur of Adele's repertoire. But you are absolutely right, this one "Easy on me" is so great...
Let us know how it went today's presentation of your son :)

Thank you, it went very well yesterday evening, it was a small event organised by the locals against gender violence, in the main square, with little candles on the ground etc... it was touching. In the end, I went too and played with him, we did it voluntarily and contributed with music to this silent and peaceful manifestation. 😇

I'm positively sure that he will never forget this small contribution with his performance in such a memorable manifestation... Parenting level: over 1000 🙌

I loved the switch to the chorus. If you’re this good, I wonder how excellent your son would be.🤭
I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing.

Son will have to carve his own path now as he will study music, as I did in my time ;)

Cool song, and yes the switch to the chorus has its striking moment 🎶

I love Adele, her voice is beautiful and this song in particular ... it moves me, that heart-shaped rock.... holes, who didn't have a heart like that once... I had it and I think we all did. Beautiful rock, it looks like mine... they told me it was a moon rock... is it? Moon, heart, piano, emotions good combination and what a beautiful song you are playing!!! Thank you!💗

The best art is the one that is made through feelings, sadness, happiness, it is the feelings that give the magic to the art ❤️

That rock has little holes in her heart and she can't heal it, it's dying a little at a time... wait, I lost myself, you were talking about Adele and I jumped to a song from the novela Chiquititas hahaha 😂

Beautiful interpretation 🦉❤️

The best art is indeed made through feelings, and I think that when the little owls sing they leave an emotional impact on their listeners 😉🦉

Thank you 😇
