Fighting with my umbrella
Wait, I am fighting with my umbrella!
My neighbour reacted with a smile to my quick justification for blocking the entrance door of the building. We actually laughed for a few seconds on this trivial situation, and then I let him pass to the street. Well, it is raining, what else can we do? STAY INSIDE? What if you had to go to the store...?
Then we can grab an umbrella, walk a zig-zag path between the puddles and sing nice songs.
Sing?
Yeah. There are many songs about the rain, even one about an umbrella, but that was not the one I was thinking about. I was talking about that funny one from the middle of the last century, named:
I played this song yesterday when it was raining outside and the hotel guests were inside, seeing the show - that spectacle of the SEA-RAINDROPS meeting through the huge windows. You know which one? I can play it now if you want to listen to it.
I think that it is better to stay with this song than with my writing or "drawing", so I should probably stop here and let the music invade this rainy day we have here in Spain. 😊

Clear skies usually mean cold, that is what the older people (like my grandmothers) used to say in winter. I saw the forecast for us, snow is possible this night and tomorrow night -2 😑 hmmm, I think I didn't expect such a cold winter hahaha

Apparently as a child “Singing in the rain” was my favourite song, I’d sing it and dance. According to my mum. I deny all knowledge.

I am not a dancer either, but I do like to see when people dance well. My part is just to play, sometimes my fingers dance though haha
I actually quite like dancing at parties and we’ve often thought of taking classes.

Believe it or not, but here in the north of Cebu Island, it has been raining for days. And I was listening to some fantasy/dreamy songs lately that best complements to the weather. Fortunately, I found your music this morning. Such a great composition, and the lyrics are so vibrant and fantastic. I'm not an expert of music although I love it passionately, and what I take about your song is it gives me many feelings in different parts of the song. Sometimes it is dreamy, sometimes a disney-like scenario, and sometimes a bittersweet emotion. It is so full of emotions, but not overwhelming. I enjoyed listening to it and I'm listening it again while writing this comment to appreciate your skills and creativity. Warm days are gonna come but for now, we'll stick to this cold and alive weather. Greetings from the Philippines! A cup of coffee should do the cheers! ❤️☕

Rain is good, the climate here is dry so all the rain that falls is needed for the plants and water reservoirs. The other thing is whether we like it or not hehehe, but I do like to listen to the rain. And many times this song comes to my mind 😉

First song that came te me was exactly that one: "Singing in the Rain". And then "Raindrops are keep falling on my Head" right when I read your line "Yeah. There are many songs about the rain, even one about an umbrella". I must be OLD! 😆 Was it the 2nd one you meant to say you didn't mean to start talking about? Or yet another one?
Raindrops keep falling was one of the songs I also remembered, also there is a Raindrop Prelude piano piece composed by Chopin, but the umbrella one I didn't mean to start talking about was Umbrella by Rihanna hahaha 🤐😆😂
