BWV 974
It is not a mistake, my post is indeed titled just with three letters and numbers.
A curious thing, sometimes I write a whole post and I have to think about the right title for a while. Other times I have the title right in the beginning, before putting even a word into the post. This time is one of those, the title is simple - BWV 974 and it already shows up while I write this little text.
I know I owe you an explanation of what those words mean, though I could write my version, maybe? Something like a Blue Words Version? The truth is that BWV, when you see it in relation to a composition written by Johann Sebastian Bach means Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis (Bach Works Catalogue). Each of the pieces he wrote is catalogued and marked with a number by Wolfgang Schmieder (it happened in 1950).
The number. The piece that was marked in this catalogue by this number is called Adagio and it has been played and left behind intermittently by me for several months. I felt this piece so sad that it made me feel the same each time I played it. Today, it comes from a different angle. And a few things contributed to it.
One common thing in all the things I will mention is inspiration.
One. Johann Sebastian Bach was inspired by the second movement of Benedetto Marcello's Oboe concerto. He arranged that Adagio from Marcello's manuscripts and included it in his Concerto for Keyboard in D minor, BWV 974.
Two. Last week we went on a short family trip. I read one book the first evening we stayed in our accommodation. There were short texts and some poems in the book I chose, so it was indeed not a difficult task to go through the whole book.
I made a few photos of the pages I liked and where I found some meaning for me. Laura Escanes, the young writer, wrote two or three letters to herself, actually to her future version. The most important message to herself was: love yourself. On another page, she wrote that our complexities or defects are our virtues... That time teaches us, and that we are born to create. Smiles, emotions, art, songs, photographs, words, each of us in our own way.

The page that maybe fits here the best is the text about blue words. That the truth has that colour, and that blue inspires. She says that it is also the colour of the dreams that catch us and pursue us until we fulfil them. And that blue is calm.
Three. Hive. Yesterday evening some posts caught my attention. Dmilliz wrote about going on hikes to clear his mind and get inspiration. Definitely a post worth checking out, but then it was followed by Nicky D, and her dance to shake out all the negativity we face or we create for ourselves. I think I played this piece today to fight back the reactions I can get to some scars from remote past that here and there open, even though I don't want it; but I know, we are already perfect in this way how we are! And what a relief, I didn't get sad while playing this Bach piece. And then our Hive poet, Nanixxx wrote a poem and used in one of her verses a composition I like so much, Adagio, from Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo. I realized that these pieces are called the same only at the moment I was saving the audio recording of my playing!
This fusion of possible sources of inspiration must be called a Spread the Vibes post, in many layers!

Very good that this time you have touched it and found a different way to appreciate it, that happens frequently in us, they are burdens that we carry that put us in a situation of mental and emotional fragility that leaves vulnerable our feelings and memories of a past, I love that this time you enjoyed it but in another perspective.
I loved playing this piece today, it was the first and only attempt of recording it and I didn't want to change anything on it (usually I always have to record more times, as it is never good 😂)
Blue words.... how good that sounds, the sea inspires and to me in particular a lot, the sound of the waves.... the blue inspires....

Yes, but it sounds better in Spanish, right? Luckily, we have the sea close so you know now, when there is no inspiration we have to go to the sea :)

Beautiful interpretation. I read that page with the title CREA and I really liked the phrase (destroying you create). In real life it is like that but in many cases the one who destroys is not aware of it. I would like to read that book. What beautiful things you give us. Thank you 🌹

La inspiración llega de una forma que es como si una estrella fugaz nos pasara por encima de la cabeza y nos dejara un mensaje con una carga emocional, simplemente llega en el momento perfecto y nos permite expresar y proyectar un poco de lo que hay guardado en el fondo de nuestro ser.
Ese libro de Laura Escanes es bien profundo, cada pagina que compartiste tiene unas bellas verdades por ejemplo cuando dice: "tus miedos son sus ganas de hacerte volar", sin duda evoca al hecho de que sin el miedo no nace una necesidad y sin necesidad no hay motivación, lo que por ende nos dice que el miedo es necesario sentirlo siempre para tomar decisiones trascendentales. La otra frase que me gustó: "hay quien crea en el desorden".. siempre lo habrá y es que esas personas son las más exitosas porque saben aprovechar momentos y generar una empatía para poder hacer algo que beneficie a muchos en la misma medida que le beneficia a sí mismo/a.
Y en cuanto a Palabras Azules.. hiciste tu propia versión con semejante ejecución en el piano de una obra bellísima, tenía muchísimos años sin escucharla y en ti ha quedado GENIAL 🌹💖!!!

Cuanta razón, es una estrella fugaz que enciende, que ilumina, que nos hace sacar cosas bonitas, crear, y ofrecer más de lo que pensamos que podemos dar.
El miedo - es química jajaja, una emoción que seguramente produce más adrenalina y nos pone más atentos y listos para salvarnos en las situaciones peligrosas. Pero con control, porque a veces el miedo paraliza. Bueno, tú eres el profesional en este campo 🤗
Y me alegro mucho que te gustó esta interpretación, estoy mejorando en aceptar las gracaciones como salen haahaha, bueno, la verdad que cambiaría la intensidad en algunos compases pero no es nada grave, he disfrutado tocarla!

There are hands there, I think they are of angels, they caress the piano with total elegance and a beautiful melody comes out. The hands no longer matter, the happiness of the piano is total, its best notes come out. And the melody is beautiful. Here are the three of us in the house, my husband, the child and I listening to that piano to start the morning, thank you for sharing.

An acoustic grand piano would answer with the strings' vibrations and singing voice, well, I have just a digital piano at home, no space for a grand piano, but anyway, something came out from it and I am glad that you and your family liked it 😌
