Composed for the soundtrack of the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001), Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi is one of Yann Tiersen's most iconic pieces.
Originally composed for solo piano, its title can be translated as "Rhyme of Another Summer." Most of the music on the film's soundtrack was composed by maestro Tiersen, including this one, Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi.

Originalmente compuesta para piano solo, su título título se puede traducir como “Rima de otro verano”. La mayor parte de la música de la banda sonora de la película, fue compuesta por el maestro Tiersen, incluida ésta, Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi.
