Today, I would like to share a new addition to the Minueto Scores catalog: an arrangement of a solemn and cherished liturgical song from the Catholic songbook—the "Padre Nuestro" (Lord's Prayer) by composer Alberto Taulé.

About the Work and This Arrangement

Originally published in 1992 as part of the El sembrador album and songbook, this piece stands out for its serene nobility, its atmosphere of intimate prayer, and its profound pastoral reverence.

In this version, I have adapted the main melodic line for Oboe, supported by a fluid, arpeggiated piano accompaniment that highlights the harmonic warmth and contemplative character of the prayer:

• Key: B-flat major (6/8 time).
• Instrumentation: Oboe + Piano.
• Range and Tessitura: The adaptation utilizes the oboe's lyrical, warm, and vocal register, offering a noble, sweet, and penetrating timbre—ideal for conveying the spiritual emotion of this melody.
• Technical and Interpretive Approach: It requires delicate breath control to sustain legato cantabile phrases, dynamic balance to blend subtly with the piano's arpeggiated texture, and metrical flexibility to maintain the pastoral sway characteristic of 6/8 time with naturalness and calm.

Sobre la obra y este arreglo

Publicada originalmente en 1992 como parte de la producción discográfica y cancionero El sembrador, esta pieza destaca por su serena nobleza, su clima de oración íntima y su profunda reverencia pastoral.

En esta versión, he adaptado la línea melódica principal para Oboe, respaldada por un acompañamiento de piano fluido y arpegiado que resalta la calidez armónica y el carácter contemplativo de la plegaria:

• Tonalidad: Si bemol mayor (6/8).
• Instrumentación: Oboe + Piano.
• Registro y Tesitura: La adaptación explota la zona lírica, cálida y vocal del oboe, ofreciendo un timbre noble, dulce y penetrante ideal para transmitir la emotividad espiritual de esta melodía.
