The Real Legend of the Paganini - 🌠 Starbits & Cold Pizza #312 🍕

It's Been a great week for Rising Star game players as it coincided with the new month, which naturally means new cards! And we love new cards.

I scored some cool new cards this week: The Legadary Paganini Violin! Besides being really fun to say, the Paganini card is also inspired by legendary Violinists. Let's look at Paganini and what he did for modern music.

The Real Legend of Paganini

Niccolò Paganini was an Italian Violinist And composer who lived in the late 1700s to mid-1800s - now that's legendary. Paganini was the 18th-century rockstar of the violin world. He made Beethoven's hair stand on end, leaving audiences in awe with his mad skills.

A real violin virtuoso of his time, this dude could play the violin like it was on fire! Which earned him nicknames like The Devil's Violinist, The Maestro of Strings and The Virtuoso Extraordinaire. He composed all his pieces to play exclusively at his concerts. His revolutionary compositions like "Caprice No. 24" and "Violin Concerto No. 1" set the stage for other classical violinist maestri such as Rachmaninov, Brahms, and Liszt. He even inspired the creation of electric violins!

Today, musicians from around the globe are picking up their violins, inspired by the legend himself! Among them is the famous violinist Hillary Hahn. Check out how she masterfully. Performs Paganini's Caprice 24 in the video below.
