Busy Saturday with lots of heavy music!
On the last Saturday, I had the pleasure of participating in two incredible events! The day started with a festival that took place in my city, the Festival of New Bands. This event happens once a year, divided into four stages, and has been going on for 25 years! It's a true cultural heritage for my city, strengthening the rock scene over the years.
Since my adolescence, I have been attending this event, so I always feel a nostalgic sensation when I go.
The first band started playing around 2 p.m., and my girlfriend and I were there, and this was just the first of the ten scheduled bands. We had a lot of heavy music, with covers of bands like System of a Down, Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, among others, but there were also some excellent quality original songs!
I'm a fan of Hardcore because I have a passion for participating in mosh pits and punk circles. It's in those moments that I let loose and put all my energy out. For me, it's a great stress-relief method. If you've never participated in a mosh pit, you should try this sensation!
It was also a great opportunity to meet some friends. Some of them are present in my daily life, but others I only meet on occasions like these rock shows. It has been enjoyable so far, but there was still the second part of this eventful Saturday!
Right after the last band played at this wonderful event, it was time to go to another place. I'm going to tell you a little bit about how it went.
My girlfriend is a big fan of a rock band called Fistt. It's an old-school Hardcore band, and they were going to play at a Studio Bar called Necessaire. The coolest part is that everything fit perfectly: Necessaire used to be one of my favorite places, and I hadn't been there for a long time, the music is my favorite, and a band that my girlfriend is passionate about was going to play. It couldn't be better!
Well, we really enjoyed the show, it was simply incredible!
We even took some photos with the band members, who, by the way, are very friendly people!
And of course, we had some fun with a lever (I don't know what it's called!) haha!
Necessaire is one of my favorite places because it has a ping-pong table! Man, playing ping-pong while drunk is so so so much fun, but I'll be modest, hardly anyone can defeat me, even if I'm much drunker than my opponent!
And that's how my last weekend went, lots of rock 'n roll, fun, and special people. Another opportunity to collect stories!
