Pressures of Life
Listening to music tonight and reflecting on my experiences so far in life, I figured out that Life is full of challenges, everyday we work hard in order to make ends meet yet some labor is in vain because the reward for their work is not up to the daily task they perform. There are people also in this world who do little to no work but earn more than 10,000 times the amount of money hard laborers earn.
The challenges of life are so much yet challenges make us stronger. There are many people in today's world who can't even commit themselves to fasting and prayers especially when it is demanded for in churches but because of lack of money and useful resources to provide food for themselves, individuals like this could spend up to six hours of each day in order to get money for feeding.

Gone are the days when there was rapid news of ladies who fell in love with a homeless man on the street, though it still happens but the rate at which economic crises and hardship has encroached on many homes. People tend to more careful in making every of their life's decisions, though there is still many who appear to be very reckless in the way the still handle the issues of life and sometimes it appears as though the reckless ones are excelling more than those who appear to be more reserved in their dealings or on the quest to make money. I've seen many old and young people who were caught in one crime or another confess of it being as a result of hardship though funny enough some will say it's the work of the devil.
I know of a time when I do not have any food to eat at home as a bachelor. I remember the times when it was so difficult and my girlfriend left me. I know the time when no one listens to me even when I talk and it appears as though there is nothing good in me that I have to offer. I know when I heard side talks of people discussing how I almost appear everywhere in the lecture room with almost the same set of clothes at all times but today what happened?
A lot of terrible things didn't befall those who were once in their comfort zone and those who have been ignored at one point have been raised to be in the position of power and decision making. I understand that in life, whether we like it or not there is a way nature makes things to be balanced in life.
Some may be in their comfort zone at present, instead of them to use the moment as the perfect time to help people and make them stand solid both physically and financially so that in their days of lack they will have one to return the favor, those who will take care of their offsprings in case anything happens but they won't. People have refused to learn different lessons from the things that God has put in nature. Some have refused to accept the fact that the same way there are changes in weather situations is the same life situations changes. The same way there are waves in the high sea and sometimes calmness is the same way there is turbulence in life. I really hope that one day people will learn to start writing their mistakes before it's too late.
The pressures of life can come on you suddenly, sometimes it comes gradually till the point where you look at your present then reflect back on your past glory and ask yourself this question that millions have asked themselves in this world and many are yet to ask themselves “How did I get here?”.
Sometimes the pressures of life can come as a result of the kind of people we allow into our lives or the nature of people we mingle with. One of the saddest stories my mom ever told me was how my rich Aunt turned into a beggar in less than a week. This sometimes happens when we are not satisfied with the little we have at our disposal, when we wish to have it all at once though different things sometimes work for different people with different outcomes.
My aunty in her time of wealth was persuaded to accept a man into her life whom she sheltered and feed while hoping for her desires to be accomplished.
She was hoping to get married to the man once the man is established. She had ignored many of the requests to help her family members and was focused on her life goal which is to get married and she was really on money as a federal government employed salary earner in addition with gifts from rich colleagues because my aunty is really beautiful. To shorten the long story, the man stole all her valuable belongings the day my aunty wasn't around and they have really stay so close that he has access to even my aunt’s bank accounts. Thank God she didn't commit suicide then but sometimes when she's around you would hear her hiss and mutter a word of regret on the decisions she's made in the past because the governmental body which she was once part of was later dissolved. Today she's struggling to climb the ladder back to where she once was.

It's important to know that the pressures of life can squeeze the life out of someone. That is why we are to take with us in this journey of life wisdom, so we won't live all our lives in regrets. I've heard the story of Hakimi the 26 years old footballer and I've heard the story of Emmanuel Eboue who lost almost all his assets to his ex wife. Life is a place of challenges where the fittest can survive, please learn to fall in love with the right person in life to ease your pressure not one to squeeze the life out of you.
