Life is sweet and enjoyable when someone pays the price
There are a lot of people who enjoy the liberty of free speech and even to some extent abuse such freedom. There are also many who enjoy life in their beautiful multi million mansion and have many good vehicles in the collections because someone somewhere paid the price. When I talk of paying the price, I don't mean a price that can be paid with paper notes. Here I mean the price of peace and freedom. Yes many across the world acknowledge Jesus Christ as one who brought peace between human beings and God, apart from the spiritual aspect of life some countries today wouldn't have been the land of the free if people didn't prepare to fight. Yes our founding fathers did a great job by putting a lot of good things in the constitution of our country which has long been respected but even before these things were put in place, there have been wars and in fact series wars which were documented in the History of the United States.
When certain things are taking place in a country or region, it gives a resounding message or warning to other regions that these people are ready to fight to the last to defend their land (rights). Now the US can be one of the countries who is not in a border war with the military of other neighboring countries. Yesterday I stumbled upon a video where I saw some men in military uniforms looking like the Chinese army fighting with the Indian army. I noticed it was an old video. Though there were no gunshots, the people sustained serious injuries and there were more casualties among the Indian armies.
Stones and sticks and anything hand can grab except guns were used in the fight on the rocky landform.
You can imagine the salary and comfort of these soldiers who stay in such isolated places defending their borders though they signed up for it but there are many within their government who enjoy the peace and liberty efforts of these men brought about.
Some of their citizens may have collection of houses, different assets and be part of their country's judiciary and some in government offices who enjoy certain level of freedom and yet if some of them have the opportunity they could steal public funds and their policy makers can put in place laws that may not be suitable enough for those who pays the price to make sure they remain in their comfort zone.
In today's world we've very much heard how change took place in the ruling power of a country and how those in government fled for their lives.
War is not entirely good because it can be very destructive, that aside there are also people who can be found in your homes, your offices, your streets and even on the roads and I feel some of these people around us make things work better and give us the comfort that we need.
I think it's time to be more appreciative of the little good things those around us do which directly or indirectly affect us and give the result that we desire. It's true some if this people get paid for their services but wouldn't it be nice to say a little thank you to the nanny that take care of your baby when you go out to have fun with your friends where you can even dance to music, later relax and enjoy yourself in any good roadside kitchen or restaurant while they may be at home receiving the tears and crying of your baby.
What about those who keep our streets and roads clean, we can start today by showing more appreciation and placing values in people's lives.
I think the main takeaway here is that one of these days your wealth or money may not save you but the little charity you learn to do today will save you tomorrow.
We don't celebrate the fact that some multimillionaires lost their homes in the Los Angeles fire but that is to show you the level of uncertainty in the world. A house owner can one day be one who sleeps on the street if they don't have any good friends or provisions to accommodate them.
