Cambodian Culture During Raining Season 🥁 🎶!

Hello everyone! So, rainy season is here, and you know what that means in Cambodia - it's time for the street ceremony! I'm going to show you all about the unique traditions and fun that go into this special event.

During the street ceremony, the streets are filled with elders and many people in colorful costumes with a small motor and tricycle. It's quite a sight to see! My mom usually participates by praying and putting 1000 riel as an offering for a grandpa.

So, that isn't surprised about the music. The music played during the ceremony is from Khmer classical music, such as drum, and a performance calls Chaii Yam and it's so loud that sometimes I can't even hear what my customers are saying. The performance usually from pagoda that is located in a far province so they have to walk very long kilometer, that is something I have to be appreciated, they are the people who keep this Khmer traditional last.

And more, it adds to the lively atmosphere though! There was even a moment when one grandpa sitting on a tricycle had a microphone and asked the little kids what they were wishing for. It turned out to be just a test to see if they were shy or not. How cute!

As the procession moves further along the street, the music gradually becomes softer and softer. It's like they're creating a fading soundtrack for the event. But well I wasn't in the proper position to capture the perfect photo. I had my earphones and slow to arrive on and could only manage to click a photo of the back of something called "Ting Morng,".

The street ceremony is such a festive and colorful event that truly captures the ceremony of the rainy season. It's a wonderful opportunity to share Cambodian culture and traditions up close with you all.
That's it for today's blog post, folks. I hope you enjoyed getting a sight into the beautiful world of the street ceremony in Cambodia.

There are many different types of cultures throughout the world. And I am always happy to see that our culture is cultivated in every country because it is our duty to preserve our culture. And really thank you very much for giving a brief insight into that culture of yours through today's post

When I was young I don't like Thing Mong, they are very scary because they are big. Now, I would like to see them again someday.
