Review of Vibes Music Entries between week 30 and 33 & Our present fate [ENG-ESP]

Greetings everyone! My name is Favour, with the username @mhizfavour, and this is my review of the previous Vibes Web3 music contest, from weeks 30 to 33.

I was thinking about what I could write that would be of value to the community and the judges, and I decided to conduct a survey about previous Vibes contests. According to data analysis, week 30 began on February 19th and ended on March 3rd, 2025. This was when the event became more competitive than in previous editions. More new entrants joined the community in the weekly contest. The competition became a sort of fight for the survival of the fittest.

In previous weeks, the community was less competitive than it is now. There weren't as many entries as there are now. Many people were hoping to win the weekly contests. Many in the Web2 community were unaware of the ongoing Vibes contest, despite promotional videos from loyal entrants. Although some saw the need to join, many thought Web3 was a mirage or a fantasy. Some waited to see if the Vibes community was actually profitable, as this would encourage them to join. However, this perception could be due to the fact that many promising platforms failed to deliver on their promises, as many hopes were dashed, and many were scammed by fake platforms.

The Vibes Web3 music contest is making the Hive blockchain more interesting. Many contributions. I even thought the Vibes community only accepted singers, instrumentalists, musicians, and rappers until I realized it also included writers. This aspect made it balanced, as not everyone may be good at singing, and some may have stage fright and not feel confident in front of the camera to record a video. So this is a balanced community. One advantage is that personal opinion can be very important, as you never know what will happen if someone's opinion makes the selection process easier than with the traditional method.

In week 30, @buttcoins took the top spot, while @jessicaossom, @babymoyin, @dearbethan, @superjavi, and @javedkhan1989 dropped from second to sixth, respectively. In week 31, @daimusic95 took the top spot, while @ovey10, @holyflames, @suanetmusic, @dayaperez, and @kemisolasings dropped from second to sixth, respectively. In week 32, @ddsb took the top spot, while @charliegarcia, @mamisushi, @dubeh-playz, @davidbolu34, and @vocal.journey1 took the second to sixth spot, respectively. In week 33, @yexilis9523 took first place, while @dovycola, @tinella, @yayasings, @eugelys, and @jesus-son took second through sixth place, respectively.

In my opinion, the Vibes Week 30-33 competition was a resounding success. However, just like today, the competition has become even more intense and demanding due to the high daily participation of new music professionals in the community. Therefore, it's clear that we now pay more attention to the quality of our content and go the extra mile, as the level of music today is much more advanced than in the past. I wish all the Vibes Week 40 participants the best of luck with their entries and congratulate the 15 nominees. I would like to recognize the efforts of our impartial judges and encourage us to continue the great work.

We regret that not all 15 nominees will make it to the top 6. The person with the most votes will make it into the top 6 and will be rewarded. I also sympathize with those who might not make it. This doesn't make them any less good. That ranking simply has to take its course to determine who wins at the end of the week. Estaba pensando en qué podría escribir que fuera de valor para la comunidad y los jueces, y decidí realizar una encuesta sobre los concursos Vibes anteriores. Según el análisis de datos, la semana 30 comenzó el 19 de febrero y terminó el 3 de marzo de 2025. Fue entonces cuando el evento se volvió más competitivo que en ediciones anteriores. Se unieron más participantes a la comunidad en el concurso semanal. La competencia se convirtió en una especie de lucha por la supervivencia del más apto.

En semanas anteriores, la comunidad era menos competitiva que ahora. No había tantas inscripciones como ahora. Mucha gente esperaba ganar los concursos semanales. Muchos en la comunidad Web2 desconocían el concurso Vibes en curso, a pesar de los vídeos promocionales de los participantes fieles. Aunque algunos vieron la necesidad de unirse, muchos pensaron que Web3 era un espejismo o una fantasía. Algunos esperaron a ver si la comunidad Vibes era realmente rentable, ya que esto los animaría a unirse. Sin embargo, esta percepción podría deberse a que muchas plataformas prometedoras no cumplieron sus promesas, ya que muchas esperanzas se vieron frustradas y muchos fueron estafados por plataformas falsas.

El concurso musical Vibes Web3 está haciendo que la blockchain de Hive sea más interesante. Muchas contribuciones. Incluso pensé que la comunidad Vibes solo aceptaba cantantes, instrumentistas, músicos y raperos hasta que me di cuenta de que también incluía a escritores. Este aspecto la hizo equilibrada, ya que no todos pueden ser buenos cantando, y algunos pueden tener miedo escénico y no sentirse seguros frente a la cámara para grabar un video. Así que esta es una comunidad equilibrada. Una ventaja es que la opinión personal puede ser muy importante, ya que nunca se sabe qué pasará si la opinión de alguien facilita el proceso de selección que con el método tradicional.

En mi opinión, el concurso Vibes Week 30-33 fue un éxito rotundo. Sin embargo, al igual que hoy, la competencia se ha vuelto aún más intensa y exigente debido a la alta participación diaria de nuevos profesionales de la música en la comunidad. Por lo tanto, es evidente que ahora prestamos más atención a la calidad de nuestro contenido y nos esforzamos al máximo, ya que el nivel de la música actual es mucho más avanzado que en el pasado. Les deseo mucha suerte a todos los participantes de Vibes Week 40 con sus participaciones y felicito a los 15 nominados. Quisiera reconocer el esfuerzo de nuestros jueces imparciales y animarnos a continuar con el gran trabajo.

Lamentamos que no todos los 15 nominados lleguen al top 6. La persona con más votos entrará al top 6 y será recompensada. También me solidarizo con quienes no lo logren. Esto no los hace menos buenos. Esa clasificación simplemente tiene que seguir su curso para determinar quién gana al final de la semana.
