Greetings everyone in the Afritunes community. Welcome to Afritunes week #70 and for this week I will be presenting a cover of the song "Amanam oh" by "Chris Morgan ft Mercy Chinwo". I hope you enjoy my presentation.
I made a mistake in my video while presenting my song about the number of week. It's week #70 and not #80 please, Thank you.
"Amanam oh" means you have done well. It is an ibibio song written in ibibio and English which expresses the goodness and generosity of God. It's a straight forward song which is simple to sing, understand and teach. Everything about the song is simple and the lyrics is understandable.
When I first heard the song I was wowed. One of my choir members taught us the song against Sunday service and we ministered the song well. It blessed my soul and others too.
I couldn't have choosed another song except "Amamam oh" for this week because God has done me well, not just me but my family as well even my colleagues, acquaintances, associates, friends and relatives. That's where my inspiration lies.
He (God) didn't have to do much before I acknowledge the fact that he is doing us well. I mean I sleep and wake up safe, he guides and protect my going out and my coming in, he provides food, shelter and all what I need without stress.
His blessings towards us are countless and even the testimonies. The other day, a couple in my church dedicated their very first child after seven (7) good years. Such miracle is what I hear but this particular one happened in my very before, I couldn't help but thank God.
This God is good oh, I am telling you that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the bright and morning star, the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley, the I am that I am, the beginning and the end is good. I can go on and on and on but I wouldn't want to bore you with it.
I have decided that I will not stop praising him no matter what happens. It is my duty and I am obligated to do that always and everyday. I have a testimony to share with you guys and very soon I will share.
