Hello everyone in the Afritunes community. My name is @mhizerbee and I welcome you all to Afritunes week 63. For this week, I will be doing the suggested song by the community titled "My confidence" by Mercy Chinwo.

My inspiration for this song: For some years now my immediate younger brother has been and fighting for admission into the university here in Uyo and for some reasons it has been so frustrating and he was so confident that this particular year he will get admission to study music.

I usually look at him and wonder how and why he is so so confident about this particular year. I can remember vividly that the past years his scores to enable him study his dream course was good unlike this year's own and he was just there unapologetically confident..Smiles

Well, I guess he knew that God has never disappointed anyone before and with everything that happened, he was still confident. And guess what, he had the admission to study his dream course and I am so wowed about everything.

Here I was or would I say here I am having doubts about things I prayed to God for. At some point, I lost hope and did not even pray about those things anymore.

I saw the title of the song "Confidence" and I listened to it and it was so inspiring.

The song is an inspiration to me because It inspires me to always have confidence in God no matter what happens, it reminds me that God is always with me all through. It inspires me to put my trust in God always because he is the author and finisher of my faith. It reminds me that I am not alone and that God is always with me.

It reminds me that with God, I am a major personality and not a minor. It reminds me that I am a big girl 😂. It reminds me that God is my shield and buckler and most importantly he is the fairest of ten thousand to my soul. And lastly, it reminds me that everything I need is in God because as the creator of everything, he knows me, my needs etc. All I need do is rely solely on him, trust him and lastly out my confidence in him.

One thing that moves God is when we are so confident in Him to do things beyond our ability and because of our faith, He does it. He brings the impossible to possible. So, I am happy for your brother for his confidence to God for an admission and it was so.

I love how you sang the song. So beautiful and inspiring.

Just like you sister did, you sang the song so well.
I have known this song for a awhile but haven't listened to score it. You know what I mean. This is lovely.
