Hello everyone in the HiveOpenmic community. Welcome to yet another week. I trust that we're all good. For this week with the theme Pasión por El Arte, Passion for Art I will be doing a cover of the song Memories by Maroon.

My face isn't friendly at all and that's because I haven't been quite okay for days now and I just couldn't afford to miss this week's entry so, I tried to participate, I really do hope you enjoy my presentation.

"Passion" is a strong and great feeling for something. It is something that is desired intensely and irresistible. It's somehow being devoted to a particular thing. "Art" on the other hand has to do with creativity and being skillful. Hence, I'd say that "Passion" and "Art" are interwoven.

Music is art and most times you'll see people snapping their fingers, nodding their head, humming. Music combines vocals and instruments for beauty and emotional expression. Music is life and it's entertaining. It helps to express emotions. The ability to be skillful and creative with any song as an artist, a singer or whatever is what makes one to stand out.

That can only be seen in someone because they have a strong and great feeling. They desire it and they can't even resist irrespective of whatever. Also, they tend to find themselves being devoted to it without stress. It comes naturally and they won't have to struggle to stand out -That's passion

There are days I am sad, angry, frustrated, hurt, name it and whenever I listen to songs that best fit each of those things I become relieved and much more better than before.

I know many artists here in this community and outside that sing so well and I admire them so much. And when you see people like that without being told you'd know for yourself.

"Memories by Maroon" is kinda talking about him missing someone he loved or would I say someone that's dear to him which is no more and having drinks just brings back the memories.

I can't imagine losing a loved one, it will definitely hurt me so much and compared to what I've seen others go through as a result of that, I wouldn't want it for myself and even my frenemies and enemies 😂

But in all, in the midst of all that everything will always be alright. Looking up to the brighter side of life is important and that's life. It won't always be green and perfect, we will face challenges, problems and perhaps we could lose our loved ones but in all life goes on and everything will be fine.
