Greetings everyone. I trust that you're all doing good. Welcome to HiveOpenmic Week 219, I am @mhizerbee and this week, I'll be doing a cover of "Mmedi by Progress Effiong"

This week's theme is Tradicional Music and the song I'm presenting relates so well because it's in my dialect - Ibibio

Every language/ dialect is unique and outstanding. I am very proud of my own which is why I'm excited to present this song because I'm able to express myself and how I feel towards God.

Mmedi means I've come and the other part of the lyrics means I've come to praise. It's written, produced and sang by an Ibibio person.

The song is all about praise, thanksgiving and adoration to God, the creator and maker of the universe. There are many things I in particular am thanking God for and most especially for the gift of life.

God is good, he is great, he is wonderful and most worthy of praise for the seen and unseen things he has been doing.

I am very much grateful and will continually be. It is a simple and straightforward song which I believe you enjoyed.
