O Dyngyl Dyngyldai la soglia
The story behind this song is wild.
I was chilling, watching an episode of Disjointed, and I hear this song that’s just out of this world. The sound was unbelievable. I spent years trying to replicate that overtone with my voice, but it’s impossible. Years went by, and I got more and more into Tuvan culture, their shamanism, healing your soul, the voice, the overtone… the mystical vibe around these amazing singers.
So one day, I’m driving to Porlezza, right behind Lake Como, and I decide to visit a friend. Of course, we smoked, and we got into this jam session about shamanism, my voice, control, etc. He shows me how he reproduces a whistle, and boom, my mind catches the dream. So this is the Italian version of a traditional Koomei song made by Yat-Kha, which became famous from an episode of Disjointed. Trippier than this… chillax u'r on a trip
