Vibes Web3 music competition wk#11. For this week, I'll be doing a song by* Lauren Daigle "You Say".

I remember the first time I listened to " You Say" by Lauren Daigle, I cried my eyes out. This is not just a song to me, because it helped me through my darkest days. Most of the time I would just plug in my earphones and listen to this song over and over again while crying my eyes out until I felt better.

This song is about identity. It's normal to have highs and lows, but what matters is that even in your darkest state, you still trust God, and believe strongly in his word.
When I get so tired of life and feel like I'm not loved, he shows me how important and how loved I am.
God is amazing, truly!!

You see the way you head was still in a position even when you reached for the high notes, that's one important skill I'm trying get used too.

It's not easy but with practice I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Most times I record my songs more than once coz I tilt my head or even close my eyes too much 😂. Just try to be present whenever you're singing, don't get too emotional coz when you do you'd want to close your eyes and just sing away. You can also try singing in front of a mirror, just practice and you'll get there.

There is something about Lauren's songs that touches everyone despite what you believe in. I think this song holds a special place in the hearts of many of us.
