Afri-tunes Wk 93 - "Nitasema By Jay Melody" Cover

Hello Afri-tunes community!
It's another week and Merit is here once to share an African tune, I'm always happy to be able to share African music every week, it's fulfilling and fun.

So for this week, I decided to do the cover of the song "Nitasema", a song sang by Jay Melody, a handsome and amazing Tanzanian artist.

Yeah, another language song from me and believe me when I say I'm more excited about these kind of songs as they make me do more complex songs. Learning a song with another language isn't so easy but with practice, it gets easier for me.

This song was a little difficult for me compared to his other songs I've sang but I love the outcome and I'm glad I get to share it with you all here.

It's a beautiful song, a song about love confessions. Jay Melody songs are always about love. More than what the songs say, I love the melody of his songs and how simple the lyrics mean.

Listen to the original and also get to see what he is singing in English. I couldn't add subtitles to my cover since it's all about love too. So find the lyrics meaning in the YouTube video I shared and let me know what you think about my cover.

I hope you do enjoy my cover of the song as much as I did, and I look forward to sharing more African music. Special thanks to my supporters, those giving me corrections which helps to make my videos come out better and thanks for viewing!!!

Song Lyrics

Si unitoke hata mara moja
Akilini mwangu oh mara moja
Ninayopitia ni kama umeniroga
Haya mapenzi yaamenipa gonjwa
Japo sijawai kukwambia
Jinsi ninavyo kuota
Nakuzimia moyo umeukota
Hii dunia nimempenda mmoja
Hizi hisia nitakwambia how i feel

Para ra ra raaaahh
How I feel
Para ra ra raaaahh
Nitasema me
Para ra ra raaaahh
How I feel
Para ra ra raaaahh
Nitasema me
