Hello Afri-tunes community!
It's another week and Merit is here once to share an African tune, I'm always happy to be able to share African music every week, it's fulfilling and fun.

So for this week, I decided to do the cover of the song "Power Rangers sang by Teni, a Nigerian female artist.

This song is kinda old but somehow I was reminded of it while I was going through some videos on Tiktok. I was like "Ahhh, there's really an artist called Teni", I don't mean she isn't a great one, I just had a lot of recent songs to listen to. I browsed for some of her songs and this is one I know well enough.

The song is talking about a woman professing her love and wishing she had super powers to show her love more. I like the song a lot, I even tried to show what she meant by super powers in my thumbnail lol.

She gave a blend of English and yoruba in the song so pardon my pronunciation in those yoruba part but know that, I had fun singing this particular one especially with funny lines she added.

I hope the community pardon an unintended oversight, I didn't make an introduction before the cover, so sorry about that.

If I knew that this song got this dancing vibe, I would have waited for my boys to wake up before listening to it...they would have made me laugh out my worries with their weird dancing steps to this song.. 😂
