RE: THE SOUL BEHIND THE SONG: KEYS TO CHOOSING AND INTERPRETING WITH HEART (AND STRATEGY) IN YOUR NEXT CONTEST [ENG/SPA]

This was very educating and eye opening to some things I've taken lightly regarding how I use my voice in music. Like you said, no one is perfect and our imperfections are what brings in the uniqueness in our music.
What I still think is a bit of a challenge is choosing the right song for my voice especially when there's a theme to pick a song from. In a case where I have to pick a new song entirely, I want to know, is it possible to know a song fits your voice before actually learning deep into the song so you'd know if to drop it or make it fit your voice?
The other points after choosing the right song are very clear and I'm looking forward to putting them in practice, I bet I'll find significant changes because I've been ignoring a lot of those.
I appreciate the effort put into this post @lobozonico well done.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience—what you said really resonated with me.
I completely get the challenge of picking the right song, especially with a theme involved. try singing just a small part of the song—maybe the first verse and chorus—without pressure. Pay attention to how your voice feels while doing it. If you're fighting to stay on pitch or express the emotion, that’s a sign to rethink or adapt.
Also, listen to how your voice naturally reacts to the rhythm and emotion of the song. Sometimes your body tells you more than your brain does.
I’m so glad the other tips were useful to you. Keep exploring and trusting your instincts—your voice always has something special to say.

Tips noted, I appreciate.
I'll try it out and see how it goes 🙂
