Hive Open Mic 148 - "Shooting Stars" Cover [ENG/ESP]

Another great theme for this week and I simply can not skip participating in this even though I was almost clueless on the song to present at first. I found a song I felt was fitting to the theme a bit late but was able to do something with the song and I'm here to share it as my entry for the theme of this week.

The theme for this week is "Luz de Estrellas" which means "Starlight" chosen by our spotlight artist @leandri the theme is a magical one to me and I tried hard to look for a song that was more magical in words but couldn't find any or maybe I didn't search enough haha. But then, I remembered one of Barbie collections that I've seen and a song she sang that fits well enough to the theme.
"Shooting stars" is not just a song from "Barbie & the starlight adventure" but also a song that tries to prove to us that we are all stars no matter what people say about us. Not just stars but shooting stars (they are more powerful) and the song says a lot about self confidence.
From my childhood, I've always enjoyed watching the stars and I sometimes form different objects just by looking at them for a longer time, I find that magical. The stars are guides at night, when everything else tends to be dark and scary and I'll say I like that we humans are being compared to such a powerful thing even though we are more.

Otro gran tema para esta semana y simplemente no puedo dejar de participar en esto a pesar de que al principio casi no tenía ni idea de la canción que iba a presentar. Encontré una canción que sentí que encajaba con el tema un poco tarde pero pude hacer algo con la canción y estoy aquí para compartirla como mi entrada para el tema de esta semana.
El tema de esta semana es "Luz de Estrellas" que significa "Starlight" elegido por nuestro artista destacado @leandri, el tema es mágico para mí y traté de buscar una canción que fuera más mágico en palabras pero no pude encontrar ninguno o tal vez no busqué lo suficiente jaja. Pero luego, recordé una de las colecciones de Barbie que había visto y una canción que cantó que encaja bastante bien con el tema. "Estrellas fugaces" no es solo una canción de "Barbie y la aventura de la luz de las estrellas", sino también una canción que trata de demostrarnos que todos somos estrellas, sin importar lo que diga la gente sobre nosotros. No solo estrellas sino estrellas fugaces (son más poderosas) y la canción dice mucho sobre la confianza en uno mismo. Desde mi infancia, siempre he disfrutado mirando las estrellas y, a veces, formo diferentes objetos con solo mirarlos por más tiempo, eso me parece mágico. Las estrellas son guías en la noche, cuando todo lo demás tiende a ser oscuro y aterrador y diré que me gusta que a los humanos se nos compare con algo tan poderoso a pesar de que somos más. Realmente espero que disfruten mi presentación de la canción, y sigamos siendo las estrellas que somos y brillemos donde sea.
