It isn't the first music hangout at the city but this is going to be first announced here in the community to announce and also let us know here on Hive know that there's another fun activity going on in the Neoxian City Discord channel that you would love to be part of.

You love music?
You love to sing?
You enjoy talking about music?
You would love a forum where you chat and laugh about music?

The Neoxian City Musical Hangout has started in the discord channel and you are invited to join us in having fun with music and hanging out with people who love music too.

This music hangout started with just a few people wanting to have fun in the voice channel, talking and laughing until a few started to sing and share thoughts on music and the hangout was born. Every music hangout have been fun and it is only right that more people are invited to enjoy that fun too.

About Last Week's Hangout

It was fun as always but that wouldn't have been possible without those who participated in singing, applauding and having fun chats as the hangout went on. The hangout usually begins with a giveaway, an opening song and then we have series of other musical activities.

@olujay entertained us with beautiful opening songs playing his guitar and even joked about singing Chinese song (Yeah, any language song is welcomed to our hangout, you should know!)

Then there was a Sing off where two people sing different songs to a theme until one wins and get a prize. The rules are quite simple and it is aimed to be for fun.

  • Sing a song that connects to the theme
  • Do not repeat songs
  • Sing once your name is tagged and stop once the other person is singing
  • No original songs (this rule may vary)

We had these people participate in the last week hangout sing off and it was fun with them. @olujay @deraaa @oluwadrey did the sing off with Olujay & Oluwadrey winning 2000 neoxag each. We also had the host (myself) sing some songs and others sang too. Like I said, it was music filled.

When does the hangout hold?

Every Tuesday, 11am - 1pm (2 hours with music)
It might be less or more than 2 hours depending on how the hangout is going.

Where does the hangout hold?

In Neoxian City Discord Channel, you can click on the link to join if you're yet to be part of the city, it is fun there!

What to expect at the hangout?

  • Music! Music! Music!
  • Neoxag and Hive giveaways
  • Chats and fun with others
    And lots more as time progresses.

You would like to note that you don't have to sing at the hangout, you could cheer those who sing and could even give suggestions of songs you want to hear. So yeah, you're invited to join us every Tuesday, make it a date to not miss weekly.

I want to thank Mr D for allowing this hangout to run and I also thank the musicians and audiences who have fun with it. Hopefully, it will get even more fun with time.

Another exciting hangout for musicians 😁. this hangout is gradually convicting me from an engineer to wizkid davido😅❤️ what a twist in profession.

It's always exciting and entertaining every Tuesday in the city with the music session. Wow..I never knew that last week session was recorded...that's really interesting for those that missed the live session. Thank you and your team merit for this music project...I hope it keeps getting better
