Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music singers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song cover for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @mhizerbee
I must commend our spotlight artist for this theme, it's a theme that can be interpreted in many ways and I can bet my approach to this theme is a bit very different but I love the theme for that.

I'm excited to share the cover of the song titled "A Moment Like This" by "Kelly Clarkson", an appreciation song for the theme of this week "Praise".
The connection of the song to the theme is from how I interpreted the theme in the first place, I think of praise and appreciation comes to mind. To God Almighty, we praise Him because we feel grateful for what He has done and for even what he is going to do for us.
The same goes for situations and happenings that make us feel grateful and we tend to praise those who made it happen aside from God allowing it to happen. I wanted to go for a song that praises God but I thought I should do it differently, praising a situation that God allowed.
I chose this song because of what it says in it's title and the lyrics. A lady singing about a moment that turned her life around and is showing appreciation and even hitting on the point that "Not many are able to have such a moment even in a lifetime" but she did and is happy to sing praises about it.

Oh my God. This voice has got me playing and playing it again and again. So inspirational and your voice makes it more adorable.
We really need to give praise to God because for sure the things he gives us for free at a time we don't expect, some wait for a lifetime to get it. I like to reblog this and save it, cos I know there is going to be a time when I need to praise God with this song and this voice playing over and over again. The words "at a moment like this" and "some wait till forever to get it" are so powerful to return praise to God when what am asking for happens.😃. Thanks for choosing this song.
