Creative Sunday Wk 53 - "Stand Out By Keke Palmer" Cover

Hello Hive learners community and my fellow singers on Hive!
It's another new week and it always starts for me with the creative Sunday initiative and once again, I'm glad to be here with another cover of a song from a movie, it's one of the movies I love and the song is one of the many songs in the movie that caught my attention.

I decided to do a cover the song titled "Stand Out" from the Disney movie "Rags", one of the many musical movies I've seen that does have a nice storyline (one of my favourite kinda stories) the one where there's the poor girl or boy and he or she is loved by a rich boy or girl. In this movie, the girl is a singer and a big star while the guy is a good singer but poor and unnoticed until he met the girl.

The two got together and sang so many songs together while finding their place without letting others dictate their lives. One of the songs that talks more about freedom and doing just what they want they want to do and become who they want to be is this song I've sang the cover of.

"Stand Up" is a song about breaking free and standing up for what one believe. Not easy to have a stand sometimes but when one does, it's amazing how far one can go in gaining freedom in it. Keke Palmer sang the song in respect to the storyline of her father not letting her sing her own songs or dress in comfortability for her videos.

I like the confidence she used in singing this song at the end of the movie in the presence of her father and he accepts to go by what she wants and not what the company or the world wants from her. It was a sweet end, I'd recommend the movie to anyone.

I tried to do the backups and I'm hopeful it isn't so bad compared to the original hehe, I hope you enjoy my cover and I'll see you next Sunday.
