1 Korean, 1 Blues, 1 Mix - 3 Tunes For Tuesday

avatar

Hello music community!
It's been a while since I shared some interesting tunes I came across here on #ttt and I'm happy I got the chance to do that today. I've got a lot of tunes to share but the three for today are all about my recent addictions.

Ever listened to a song and you can't seem to play the next song on the list?

Or you keep humming a song you heard until you could actually sing the lyrics?

These songs are like that to me and it might interest you to know that I'm yet to sing the lyrics well enough but I could get the rhymes well enough now hehe.

Every song has a story, and every song has got to have a melody, a tune and a meaning to get my interest in it. These songs didn't just have all that, I got to know about them in different and interesting ways.

I would recommend these songs to anyone but the thing is, they aren't all in English so limiting the ears that would understand what is being sang. Like I said, a song with good melody can win my heart and same goes to a song with good tune or beat, the meaning comes last when I listen carefully.

Thankfully, these songs have beautiful meanings but one is in Korean, another is mixed and one is in English. It isn't a limitation to me as I do enjoy Korean songs too and try to follow up with the English meaning of their songs.

On that note, here are the three tunes for my Tuesday...

1 Korean, 1 Blues, 1 Mix

Start Over by Gaho

I saw a korean series recently with the name "Itaewon Class" highly recommended by a friend and this song have got stuck in my music list since then. I actually had it downloaded when I heard the song the second time in the episode of the series. The song was so captivating and full of power or maybe the series made it seem that way.

You should listen to it to confirm what I'm trying to say, the song is a unique one even before we go in detail to know what it means with it's lyrics. Start Over is a motivating song and it fits well when you need to listen to something to start your day.

Amazing By Westlife

My most favourite music band of all time is Westlife so even I am surprised that I didn't know they had a song like this too. I'm still wondering how I missed it all this years until I found it some weeks ago and became addicted to it too. Their songs are always about love but I like that they bring something new with that theme.

Amazing is a beautiful song with an amazing meaning as heard, no much to say. You'll love it if you love blues, perfect for a calm moment or just to feel good because that is what the song does for me when I listen to it.

Way Back Home By Shaun feat. Conor Maynard

And the mix I've been talking about... A song sang by an English singer and a South korean singer. It's my first time listening to a song by Shaun and I've became a fan because of this song. The two did a good duet on the song with one singing an English verse and the other singing a korean verse.

Way Back Home is a love song with really beautiful lyrics. I like the melody of this song more, reminds me so much of a song by Westlife too. You'll love this mix, I hope hehe.

These are my three tunes for the Tuesday and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. You can join in the #ttt challenge organized by @ablaze if you've got some tune to share too.

You see that song from "Itaewon class", I love it so much. The series itself is so interesting and teaches a lot ranging from patience, wisdom and hardwork.

I enjoyed other tunes as well.

Thanks for sharing this.

You know, I am just realising these days that Korean songs are pretty sleek. The only thing, of course, is that it's in a foreign language. I still enjoy them regardless.

Nice mix of songs! I really enjoy some variety too, and these three were all about that. Typically when I think of Korean music K-Pop first comes to mind; it was nice to hear one that doesn't quite fit that category. It was a fun listen.
