Recomendación: Epic The musical Esp/Eng

Hola, comunidad, ¿qué tal todo? En esta ocasión le estaré comentando acerca de un musical y de las canciones que más me gustaron. Está basado en la Odisea de Homero, pero con una perspectiva diferente, se podría decir que un poco más moderna.

Fue creada por Jorge Rivera-Herrans, inició el proyecto para presentarlo en su tesis de fin de carrera y a través de tiktok empezó a crear una gran comunidad de fans. Tardó casi 3 años en culminar todo el musical. Jorge documentó todo su proceso de desarrollo de Epic en tiktok, desde sus primeras ideas hasta las canciones totalmente terminadas, también las audiciones para cada personaje se realizaron a través de ella.

Podrían pensar que para escuchar las canciones de Epic se tienen que ver el musical, pero no, si no eres fan de los musicales, pero te gusta la buena música con grandes conceptos, te va a gustar, aunque si tienes interés en entender un poco más sobre la historia y ver las batallas, los personajes, es mejor verlo, si te parece mucho tiempo podrías separarlo tiene 2 actos, cada uno con 20 canciones, y si no tienes tanto tiempo podrías escucharlo por Ep, hay muchas formas de verlo.

De mi parte, conocí Epic por una amiga que tenemos en común @noheliah. Las tres lo vimos juntas, fue la mejor decisión. Pasaron 3 meses desde que lo vimos y aún seguimos cantando las canciones.

Entre las canciones que más me gustan, tengo que mencionar a la que más he escuchado recientemente: warrior of the mind. La mezcla de sonidos me encanta. Además, al principio se puede escuchar un reloj que le da más suspenso al momento, pero también marca un cambio en la temporalidad.

Otra canción que me encanta, es Open Arms. Es una de las canciones más lindas de todo Epic. Dentro de muchas canciones dramáticas, da una pausa necesaria entre tanto caos, añade un trasfondo más emocional. Los sonidos transmiten una sensación de calma, pero al mismo tiempo es un poco más alegre.

Siguiendo con canciones con un ritmo más animado y alegre es necesario recomendar Legendary, que además es cantada por uno de mis personajes favoritos, está llena de desafíos internos, ganas de superarse y conocer su propia identidad, esperando el momento para conocer el mundo y su mezcla de sonidos lo transmite a la perfección.

Cambiando un poco el ritmo a algunos más intensos y dramáticos, todo el Ep de Cyclops es una verdadera recomendación, las dos que más que gustan y que tengo que escuchar en orden survive y remember them, son sonidos que te transportan a una verdadera batalla, también dedo recomendar otro Ep que me encanta tienes sonidos dramáticos es The ocean saga.

Por último, una canción que no puedo dejar de mencionar es would you fall in love with me again. La última canción del musical y la más emotiva,representa el final del camino, encontrarse con la persona que añorabas, pero siendo alguien totalmente diferente.
