Steel Pulse at The Sound in San Diego, CA [EN/PT-BR]

Last night me and my wife went out on a date night. It's been a long time since we had a date night by ourselves. Things have been tough lately, and we almost never have time for us. A couple of months ago I saw that Steel Pulse was going to play here and I decided to get us tickets. Last night I asked my oldest son to watch over the younger ones so we could go out. He is now 17 and a very responsible young man.
We always loved reggae, and Steel Pulse has always been on my playlists. They played at The Sound, a relatively small concert venue here is San Diego. It's located inside Del Mar Fairgrounds. I'm not a fan of big crowds, I've been to big concerts and festivals before, but I prefer to go to smaller places where you can actually see the artists on stage instead of looking at a big screen from far away.
The most fun part of the night was when we went to check out the merch stand, and the lady selling merch ask us if we wanted to take part of a conga line on stage with the band, where the bass player would lead the line and we would follow him. They invited about 15-20 people. I'm usually shy and would probably had passed the offer, but my wife accepted without hesitation, so I had to go. I tried to get some pictures up there, but we had to keep moving.
We loved our night out, it couldn't be better.

Ontem à noite, eu e minha esposa saímos para curtir a noite. Fazia muito tempo que não saíamos sozinhos assim. As coisas têm sido difíceis ultimamente, e quase nunca temos tempo para nós. Há uns dois meses, vi que o Steel Pulse tocaria aqui e decidi comprar ingressos para nós. Ontem à noite, pedi pro meu filho mais velho que tomasse conta dos mais novos para que pudéssemos sair. Ele tem 17 anos e é um garoto muito responsável.
Sempre gostamos de reggae, e o Steel Pulse sempre esteve nas minhas playlists. Eles tocaram no The Sound, uma casa de shows relativamente pequena aqui em San Diego. Ele fica dentro do Del Mar Fairgrounds. Não sou fã de grandes multidões, já fui a grandes shows e festivais antes, mas prefiro ir a lugares menores onde você pode realmente ver os artistas no palco em vez de olhar para um telão de longe.
A parte mais divertida da noite foi quando fomos conferir a lojinha da banda e a senhora que fazia o atendimento nos perguntou se queríamos fazer parte de uma "conga line", tipo uma dança em fila no palco com a banda, o baixista iria liderar a fila, e nós iriamos seguindo ele. Eles convidaram umas 15-20 pessoas. Eu geralmente sou tímido e provavelmente teria recusado a oferta, mas minha esposa aceitou sem hesitar, então tive que ir. Tentei tirar algumas fotos lá em cima, mas tivemos que continuar andando.
Adoramos nossa noite, não poderia ter sido melhor.
