Naqara player photography _ monomad daily chalenge
Greetings to all my friends in the black and white community. I hope you are all doing well and that everything is running smoothly. I'm Menti, and I'm back with another photoshoot and blog. Today's model is a Naqara player, and after our videography project, we started taking some great photos in this beautiful location.
Since it was near sunset and the golden hour for photography, I seized the opportunity and began taking some photos with the famous instrument that Behzad is known for playing in our city. Now, let's dive into the photos we took
I usually start with a seated pose, and if my model is wearing sunglasses, I always ask them to put them on first, so that after taking a few photos, they can relax and look at the camera more naturally. The way someone looks in a photo is very important. In my first photo, Behzad is sitting with his hands crossed, wearing a watch as an accessory, and the setting sun is casting a beautiful light on his face. I used a reflector to slightly brighten the shadows. I always recommend having a reflector when shooting outdoors because it provides a natural and soft light, giving you more flexibility in lighting
In the next photo, the instrument, which is a bit brighter, is placed on a stand, and he is standing. I think Behzad looks much better standing, and his sunglasses help him turn his face towards the light without being bothered by it.
Now it was time to ask him to take off his glasses, and we repeated the same pose. This time, he was less serious and more relaxed in front of the camera, smiling and feeling the moment. We continued shooting from different angles, and I've shared some of the best photos with you. For example, in the fourth photo, he is looking directly at the camera and smiling. I never take risks and always make sure to get at least one photo where my models are looking at the camera and connecting with it.
The clouds in the sky looked great, and the location we found by chance also played a significant role in making the photos better
Finally, I invite you to see a full-length photo of Behzad and the video that I promised in previous blogs. It's a beautiful Azerbaijani instrumental piece that Behzad and his fellow musician Sasan, who was responsible for the keyboard and arrangement, created.
If I have the chance to finish editing Sasan's photos, I will definitely share some of the photos of him with his famous keyboard, which is his instrument, in future blogs. I hope you enjoyed the photos and video and that they entertained you for a moment. Have a wonderful day, and until next time, farewell.
