Hola apreciados amigos de la gran familia de hive Open Mic! Que gusto para mí volver a participar en la semana 203 de ésta competición, con la temática de "memorias". Tema elegido por la artista destacado: @oluwadrey; a quien pude conocer su talento hasta hoy que ví una de sus últimas publicaciones. Puedo mencionar que es un intérprete muy talentoso, canta muy bien y con un timbre de voz muy agradable. Para mi participación, interpreté "Inolvidable", del gran compositor cubano Julio Gutierrez. Una canción que se hizo muy popular en el mundo con la explosión comercial del bolero, a partir de los añs 40's.
Hello dear friends of the great hive Open Mic family! What a pleasure for me to participate again in week 203 of this competition, with the theme of "memories". Theme chosen by the featured artist: @oluwadrey; who I was able to know his talent until today when I saw one of his last publications. I can mention that he is a very talented performer, he sings very well and with a very nice voice timbre. For my participation, I interpreted "Inolvidable", by the great Cuban composer Julio Gutierrez. A song that became very popular in the world with the commercial explosion of the bolero, from the 40's onwards.
La relación del tema que seleccioné con la temática semanal, es sencilla. Inolvidable es un tema clásico que evoca la memoria de un amor imborrable. Una gran canción que a través de los años se ha convertido en uno de los boleros más populares. Muchas han sido las versiones de ésta gran canción. Pero la versión que más disfruto y marcó mi vida fue la del cantante mexicano Luis Miguel; quien incluyó su versión del tema en su LP de 1991: "romance". Nunca olvidaré el momento en el que yo mismo con 7 años aprendí a colocar la aguja del tocadiscos con ésta canción. Por eso disfruto mucho este tema y es una de las canciones que más disfruto interpretar y más si la acompaño solo con mi #ukelele.
The relationship of the theme I selected with the weekly theme is simple. Inolvidable is a classic song that evokes the memory of an indelible love. But the version that I most enjoyed and that marked my life was the one by the Mexican singer Luis Miguel; who included his version of the song in his 1991 LP: "romance". I will never forget the moment when I myself, at the age of 7 years old, learned to put the needle on the record player with this song. That's why I really enjoy this song and it's one of the songs I most enjoy performing and even more if I accompany it alone with my #ukelele.
